Perfect Honeymoon |

| My husband and I came to T. Island for our honeymoon (we are both 46). When we pulled up to Shore Leave, we both burst out laughing in delight because it was so lovely and so exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfy, and beautifully decorated--and located within walking distance of, well, virtually everything. Diane was wonderful to deal with (we had to make very last-minute plans due to Hurricane Ike, and she took good care of us). When my husband and I rode bikes all over the island, we checked out other Mermaid properties, and they were all pretty and cozy. If you're planning a trip to T. Island, I'd definitely recommend checking out Mermaid Cottages. |

My personal tips:
Bathroom shower
The water in the master bathroom shower DOES get hot--very hot, in fact--but you've got to let it run for several minutes first. So turn it on and do something else for a little while and then come back and it'll be ready.
