House Wonderful; Rental Service?

We thought the home was outstanding. However, the company
managing the property was incredibly rude. Due to health issues
this trip was last minute. We paid upfront and were treated, after
they received payment, like squaters. No phones in the house, no
garbage cans etc. Than after complaining they were dropped off
for us to install!! This was not a cheap rental and were it not for
the service of the rental company, I would have given this property
a 5 star. After our stay we moved to another property managed by
this agency and due to machine issues in their office using our
credit card, they threatened to send police if we didn't vacate the
property immediately. Of course they tried again to put the charges
through and after mistakes they made, the charges went through.
It was clear customer service was not in the minds of this group but
payment and after that, you're on your own. It was a trip much
needed; due to the aforementioned health problems and they
ruined it. We left Europe hoping to enjoy great vacation and well
known American service and ended up experiencing the poor type
of service we've grown to accept in Europe. Very disappointing.

These guests were the very first ones in this property. When they let us know about the wastebaskets, we promptly delivered them. We also promptly delivered the phones and the only reason we did not install them, was so we would not disturb them; they had a baby in the group and our intention was not to be lazy, but rather, to be considerate.

As for the problem in the second property, this was a very last minute reservation, thus we had no deposit. We allowed them to move into this property and then went back to the office to charge their credit card and the charge was repeatedly declined by THEIR bank; this was not a problem on our end. The charge eventually went through and the guests stayed. We absolutely care about our guests and their experience.
