| We searched the internet for a condo in Lion's Head Village because we wanted the convenience of the gondola for our children. They had never skiied out west so we wanted to have as positive an experience as possible. Westwind was in the right location at the right price and has a pool and 2 hot tubs (which we and most other renters visited each day after skiing). Our condo was very nice, had a fabulous view of the mountains - beautiful during the day and all lit up at night, and very nice and helpful staff. It was ridiculously easy to walk out the back door and walk for approximately 2 minutes to the gondola. Lion's Head is so great for kids - ice skating, hot chocolate everywhere, Adventure Ridge at the top of the mountain...fun, fun, fun - the weather was amazing so we could eat outside every day at the base of the mountain. It was a true luxury vacation filled with action and adventure at every turn. We had NO problems at all with anything at our condo - kitchen was well stocked, the condo was very clean and tidy, and there was even a fireplace. We will definately be back...and may upgrade to the 3 bedroom! |
