Wonderful

We spent 10 days at the Maui Kai 301. I should say 10 days in the Maui Kai 301 because we didn't want to go out. It is a perfect spot. Any closer to the water and you would have to swim. The lanai is comfortable with an unobstructed 180 view and privacy. The condo is like a home with everything you could want for a great vacation. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen was very well equipped.
There were beach toys, a comfortable bed and a great shower. The location was perfect for long walks on the beach and food. We found the best Mai Tai's around next door for $4.

After 10 days in the Maui Kai 301 we spent 3 days in the owners other condo at the Hana Kai. We were reluctant to make the drive but we are glad we did. It's not so bad if you take it slow. It is very green and very different from the rest of Maui. Hana is quiet and peaceful with amazing waterfalls and beaches. Once again the condo had everything you would need and was very charming and comfortable. We didn't have any trouble with noisy neighbors but it could be the luck of the draw. The condo overlooks a black sand beach and it's walking distance to the little town. We had a great dinner at the Hana Hotel and and a couples outdoor massage while listening to the ocean. We have been to Maui many times but never left so relaxed or so upset to have to leave. I would highly recommend both condo's and I would not miss the opportunity to stay a few days in Hana. We are booking again a year in advance to be sure we get to return.
