We had a wonderful week as we stayed at the Tar-valier house located in Duck. The description and pictures seen prior to our visit on the website was excatly what we got when we arrived at our house...even better! It was very roomy and the double refrigerators were also a major plus! There was an amazing view of the beach from the upper deck and the house was conveniently located near many shops, restaurants and stores.

Overall the house was well maintained. We were not able to use the hot tub and downstairs sofa due to cleanliness.

We would recommend Outer Banks Blue and would not hesitate to rent again. We had a great and memorable time.

Thank You

This was our first time renting this vacation home.We took the whole family. It is a beautiful home,we all loved the pool and all the room in the house. The house could of been cleaner & the garbage was stacked high in the driveway it smelled terrible.after 2 days it was finially removed.there was food dumped in the back yard, along with rotting food left in one of the grills.this was left from the tentants before us.the rental company did get us a new grill, they were sorry for the inconvience that was left for us.make sure when you leave that you don't forget anything (you probably won't get it back!)otherwise,it was nice and cozy

This was the first time my family visited the Outer Banks. We spent a week in this house and had an awesome time. The location of the house is great, just a short walk to the beach. There is more than plenty of room and the rec room was fun for the whole family. The views from the decks outside are fantastic (sunset parties on the roof!). They provide you a code to enter prior to arrival so all we had to do was drive to the house, no office to have to go to-so easy! We could have used more towels, however, there is a washer & dryer, so we were fine. The kitchen has everything you need & i loved the size of it. Perhaps some patio furniture out by the pool would have been nice. The ship watch was enjoyed by all. We definitely can't wait to go back to the Outer Banks and hopefully enjoy this house again.

The home was beautiful, but there were just a few issues. The swimming pool and hot tub were not cleaned before we got there and when we called the rental agency they stated someone would be out. Unfortunately no one showed the week we were there and we were unable to use either. We also had a problem with ant infestation in the kitchen which management was also notified about. To the owners, your home is lovely and when we come back to North Carolina we will most likely try to stay at your home again. (Hopefully your management company will be sure to fix the listed problems) We thank you for sharing your home with us and we were quite comfortable there.

This house is a perfect setting for a family vacation. There is tons of space so everyone is not on top of one another. It's in a great location. The house is a is a small jaunt to the beach but definitely walkable. It's even closer to the shops and restaurants. If you've never been to Duck (or OBX) for a family vacation, it's a definite must. Once you arrive you won't want to leave!

Beautiful home, yard, and pool in the Bayberry Bluff section of Duck. Relaxing decks, including a crow's nest with breathtaking ocean and sound views. Plenty of room and comfortable accommodations. Everything has been considered for your comfort. The ship's watch provided awesome viewing of a passing thunderstorm. The screen porch was pleasant, even on hot evenings, as the ceiling fan provided the necessary breeze. Its a short, easy walk to the beach and the neighborhood is minimally traveled so it it nice to walk, ride bikes, or leisurely stroll with the family pup. Did I mention the hammocks and pool? Everything you could possibly want in a relaxing vacation is here at TAR-VALIER.
