Beautiful Deck and Home |

| I stayed at Antelope Mountain for Labor Day weekend and found it absolutely beautiful. It had a large deck with a cute little treehouse to the left of the deck. The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable and the Spa did not work. Although we had called to get it serviced, the requests were ignored and we had a cold spa. Overall, the stay was fabulous, and the weather was great! |

The Worse cabin a ever rented in Big Bear |

This was my third year that I was going on vacation for New Year & I found this cabin Antelope Mountain Retreat #858 over the internet from Big Bear Vacations Rentals search. The cabin looked like nice when I first saw by internet. But I was little qurious about the bedrooms as there were no pictures for all bedrooms in the internet. I contacted the number that was on the ad page to discuse about the rental agreement & about the bedrooms. As per per assistant, cabin had a 4 bedrooms as it was on the ad. We agreed to rent the cabin & I paid for 3 nights by Credit card. Later when we got there, we got very disappointed when we saw their bedrooms. The 2 bedrooms that were under the attick were like a dog house, very small, matrases were on the flor without beds, no doors for bedroom, and people can't stand in the room as the roof was very low. The other 2 bedrooms were downstairs & were ok. There was a kind of fence on the second floor which was above the kitchen, was moving & if you push it it couldv'e broke easily. After all, we called the main office to tell them that this is not the room we were expecting, as we also had a guests with us, they told us that they can only refund our money.
They did refund our money back. We found new cabin very hard as it was New Year eve.
I would not sugest anyone to rent this cabin.

My friends and I stayed there in the winter, it was our first trip to Big Bear to practice snowboarding, and I think we were really lucky to stay here, the place was really nice and it had everthing we needed =)
I loved the living room and the rooms downstairs =)
The only thing we didn't used was the Hot Tub because we had too much snow all day. |
