| I enjoyed the location and the dock because we have a boat. The property had an ant and roach issue. Me being one that can not stand that sort of thing I was not comfortable. Other than that it would have been cozy. |

| Thank you for responding to our survey on Circle lake Lodge. we are sorry you experienced ants and othe bugs while you were here. Ants are abundantin the mountains, especially close to the water. Fleas and cockraches can't live in this altitude but there are other insects that do live in the mountains. We are sorry they interferred with your vacation. Visit us agian and I hope you have a non-bug vacation. |

Great property, poor upkeep |

I thought this was a beautiful property on Big Bear Lake. The problem was that the property was dirty and the furniture was disgusting. Specifically, the floors were covered with sand, the furniture was very old and smelled bad, the BBQ was filled with mud, the Jacuzzi had sand in it, etc. I spent my first day of vacation just cleaning the property for my use. Additionally, the house lacked items that you would expect on property at such a high rental rate. The property lacked TV remotes (while the TV’s were located high up), paper towels, additional towels, even a can opener. Just about everything on the property was broken: closet doors, sliding screen doors, selves in the refrigerator, and the stove.
After returning from my vacation, I checked the Better Business Bureau (http://welcome.bbb.org/) for the company that had rented my the home, Big Bear Vacations (http://www.bigbearvacations.com/). Their rating? “F”. Enough said.
