| The photo's of the cabin we stayed in did not do it justice. I'm sure they will be even better with your remodling. Even though, we were very comfortable in Sunrise 108. When we arrived...after checking in with the very helpful folks, we were very excited to settle down with a hot cup of coffee and sit on the deck looking at the lake and just relax. We brought our kayaks and bikes so we were able to enjoy our stay in every way. We are already making plans for our next stay. Thank you very much! |

| My Wife, 2 boys and a baby had a wonderful time staying at the lakeside cabin. It is our first time renting and also staying in Big Bear, CA. We loved the way the cabin looked with its rugged looks. We especially loved the view of the lake and wilderness surroundings. We did some fishing at the docks and also rented a boat. But 2 1/2 days wasn't enough and if only we stayed a little longer. Well maybe next year we can stay a whole week. It was a wonderful experience for me and the family. |

The location was perfect, close enough to the lake and the view was great.
However, there is a musty and "dog" smell to the cabin.
The coffee table had a bar broken and we had to make sure that our 4 year-old did not hit the nail.
Also, the bathroom walls could use some paint.
They are so scratched and dented. |

| Thank you for your response to Sunrise Cabin, Unit 108 at Shore Acres Lodge. We are sorry you didn't have the best experience possible. The coffee table has been repaired. We do have a 24 maintenance department and an onsite manager at Shore Acres during the summer. We will be cleaning the carpet by mid August. These units are all pet friendly and the dogs like the lake. We clean the carpets often to help with pet issues. We are in the process of trying to paint the individual bathrooms. Thank you so much for your helping us give our guests a quality vacation product. |

The cabin is great! Some of the beds had been replaced and the sofa was replaced, however it
is not a convertable ( does not make into a bed ).
We rent this cabin at least once a year & have done so for several years. We book at least 6 months in advance. It is very annoying getting the emails offering "free gas cards" for immediate booking. I think as
as loyal customers we should qualify for a gas card!!! |

| Sunrise #108 at Shore Acres was large enough for our family of 6 and was right on the lake. It also had a nice kitchen area which was another selling point. I was disappointed in the overall upkeep of the property. (Broken furniture, unstable floor, etc.) I also really didn't enjoy the atmostphere (with the exception of the view). Too many young men (military?) drinking around the small pool area, doing cannonballs and frightening off the small children. This isn't a place where I felt comfortable with my family. |

| Thank you for responding to our survey on Sunrise #108 at Shore Acres Lodge. Most family's do have a good experience at Shore Acres. We are sorry your stay included guests staying at other Lodge units who weren't more family friendly. We have repaired a coffee table at unit 108. We hope you will stay with use again and have a better experience. We want all our guests to have the best vacation possible. |

| Stopped by an old friends place to find him moved and gone. Don (my old friend)had some health issues and moved closer to the DR. His office was still intact and manned at about 5:30 PM on a Saturday. They had no overnite rentals available and recommended you all. I stopped by your main office Downtown, found it well staffed and begged for forgiveness for not making a reservation. No worries, your friendly service staff looked for a nice little cabin near the lake for my and the bosses 34th Anniversary inpromptu getaway. We are pretty local and were not going to spend a ton of money. I mentioned a hundred bucks and she said how about tax and deposit. We worked a deal that I felt was all in my favor. Cabin 108 by the lake was just that, BY-The-Lake. A small cabin, built in the Mid 60's, a well maintained small two bedrom affair with all the comforts available for a short stay. We packed our stuff into the front bedroom and headed to "Best Grub on da Hill" a refreshing little eatery well staffed, well priced and well worth it. Took most of the food back to the cabin. I donned my wadders and took off across the small driveway with my float tube on my back. Got in the water and found the fishing to be pretty good for almost everyone but me. I guess you can't have everything, but this memory will be near the top of my impromptu exploits with near perfect results... Oh the wife said I have to take her back in two years, cause next year we are going to Yellowstone. |

| Very comfortable cabin with all the provisions needed to make a 3-day or longer stay easy. Except for the carpet, very clean and well maintained. Great location - only a few feet from the beach, lake, and dock. Only downside is the narrow dirt road between cabin and lake that fishermen use quite regularly (dust gets blown into the cabin). Overall, this cabin is pricy but still a great deal and well worth it if your goal is finding a great place to kick back. I'll return next vacation. |

This was one of three (3) cabins used by our ladies group at church for our retreat. All three cabins were comfortable and we used the largest to have group meetings and do all of the cooking.
Everyone found the location to be peaceful, and many of the ladies awoke early in the mornings to walk around the lake.
This particular cabin was furnished nicely and very comfortable. |

Hi there,
We enjoyed our stay in March. It was the tail end of the season, so we could still go snowboarding and skiing. The cabin was older but had all the amenitites that you needed. The only thing I think that could have been changed is the carpet, it looked pretty old. Anyway, for the price and flexability(also no room cleaning cost!) we enjoyed our short two-night stay in Big Bear. We loved our time there and had no complaints! |

| Great location and views. Also very quaint setting. The unit itself was in serious need of attention. Almost all the furniture was in need of repair or replacement. Unable to sit on sofa without sinking in the middle. The windows had cobwebs and were dirty and none of the locks worked on the windows. The cost to rent this cabin is significant and we would expect a higher standard for the price. |

| The cabin was perfect for a college fraternity ski vacation rather than an upscale family vacation. The cabin had a variety of marginal or missing or broken items. If you want to rough it w/ a beautiful view THIS IS IT! Too high priced for the VERY rustic cabin even in December. You are paying for the view and lake access. |
