The cabin itself was decent. Would have been nice to know ahead of time or have fixed upon arrival: 2/4 stove burners were broken upon arrival, oven didnt work at all, bathrooms are VERY dark, ants in the kitchen. I had called in advance to ask what "fully equipped kitchen" meant. Was told that coffee maker was there. But would have been nice if the website/sales rep had a list of the actual items present. Eg. there was no cutting boards, the teflon pans were all scratched up and should have been tossed (thats supposed to be toxic!). Instead she recommended I bring fans (unnecessary). Location was better than expectec, esp for a 2 star. Still had a great time, how could you not, its beautiful up there.

We really enjoyed the house and walking to the lake. The neighborhood was quiet. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty. The children enjoyed the cable TV in every bedroom. The eating area was a bit small and if we wanted to cook the kitchen was a little low on supplies.(But really, who wants to cook on vacation!)There was even horseshoes and a little swing set in the fenced in yard. The really great thing was the spa on the back balcony!

Nice and large. Great spa. Only bottom floor room were nicely decorated, since i stayed with a group we drew straws for the bottom, the top were awful, didn't even have curtain in the windows. The power went out on our 2nd night, but that was taken care of. Kitchen was decently furnished with needed pots and things. Decent experience, would expect more for $1000.00 price tag for renting a couple of days.

Great home, accomodates a bunch of people. Close to town and the alpine village play area. Place needs a little TLC but was very comfortable and homey.

Great parking for 4 nice size truck/Jeeps As you walk to the front door there is a narrow patio on the front of the house.

When you walk into the house, you entered the living room This was the nicest part of the house. the layout of the house was very nice for 3/4 person families.

As you walk through the living room to the sliding back door to the wood deck there is a Hot Tub. It was very nice. Down the deck there is a very large yard, with a swing/slide set for kids to play on. It was nice. Could use a little bit of cleaing up.

If you turn left when you walk into the house from the front there is the kitchen. The front of the kitchen over looks the front of the house There is a great Bench w/ a oval table and chairs.

Now the rest of the kitchen is on the side of the house. Fridge, sink, counter, cabinets. This part of the house is the worst. It was BAD>>> I would not cook in this kitchen, there was not enough plates, knife, glasses, ect.. The kitchen was very run down.

If you are standing in the middle of the living room and turn right there was two great bedrooms, and in the middle of the two is a full bathroom. These rooms were nice based on the layout of the house. The Beds really needed to be replaced. They were worn.

If you are back in the middle of the living room you can climb the stairs to the second level. As you turn right into the 3rd bedroom you will find a full bed and a king size bed. My husband and I stood in this room. It was ok, Again the beds really needed to be replaced. As you walk up the hall you will find a full bath room and another bedroom. This bedroom I must say was the best. it had a Twin and Full size bed It was a great room for the kids.

As far as the bath rooms they were clean the Shower Curtin in the upstairs bathroom keep falling. The Shower water kept going from Hot to Cold. The Hot was very hot.

Between 1-5 this is how I would rate this house
Cost a 3 Location a 5
Neibghors a 5
Layout a 5
Kitchen a 1
Living room a 4
Bedrooms a 3
Bahrooms a 3

Over all this house would be a 3. If it was not far the Kitchen it would be a 4

This house is very large and has enough beds for lots of guests. We stayed during Memorial weekend and it was cold on the mountain. The jacuzzi on the outdoor deck was always in use. There is a charcoal grill on the deck, also. There is a huge fenced back yard with pine trees, which makes it very dog-friendly....it even has a doggie door!
In the living room there is a wood burning fireplace. This house is very close to the lake, village, and restaurants.
It is located on a very quiet street, not a lot of traffic.
We would definitely stay there again.
