Beautiful property, even in March; neighbor's dog a problem |

Beautiful chalet; roomy,comfortable, clean; beautiful views from large windows. The grounds are amazing; our 3-year-old loved following the cats around the garden paths.
The only complaint we had has nothing to do with the property but regards a neighbor’s dog. One evening we went for a walk near the property. The dog would not leave us alone. It blocked our way and grabbed our arms, even went after our daughter. Its enormous size and strength were very frightening and completely aggravating - our walk was aborted. I finally marched to the neighbor’s and asked that he call his dog. He did without apology.
We felt very disappointed that we had to deal with something like that on vacation. We got no response from the owners, who were otherwise attentive.

Thank you so much for your review of At The Cove Chalet. We are so happy that you enjoyed the chalet and that it was comfortable, roomy, clean and beautiful. We remember your issues with the neighbor's dog. The owner of At The Cove Chalet did follow up with the owner of the dog and asked him to keep his dog on his own property. We felt that it was such an unfortunate happening and we were very frustrated that we could not keep this from happening while you were staying with us.
We are happy to say that we have not had any more instances of this dog wandering onto the property. It seems that addressing the situation brought an end to it. Thank you again for bringing it to our attention when it happened. It's because of this type of quick communication that we are able to better serve our guests.
We hope you will choose us again for your next Western North Carolina vacation!

| This was a well kept property that had beautiful grounds and was still just a few minutes drive to central Asheville. Wish I had had more time to enjoy it! |

| We had a great weekend at the Chalet at the Cove! It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We'll definitely plan to stay there again, and recommend it to our friends! |
