Planning only 6 weeks in advance of our vacation week, and wanting to rent in Harwich Port close to the beach with a minimum of five beds, this spacious "antique home" was the only choice left. I confess I was nervous about only one bath and few modern conveniences (no washer, dryer, or dishwasher), but I was fixated on location. And what a delightful surprise! Even my electronic-age grandchildren were enchanted with the "quaint old Cape Cod" experience in this lovely, comfortable antique home. We never missed what we didn't have and loved the ambiance. All six of us could gather together in one room (or get away from one another as needed!) in our rambling old treasure of a house. It's a short walk to everything in Harwich Port, just two short blocks to the Nantucket Sound beaches, and a short drive to the National Seashore (for surf) and Cape Cod Bay (for surf-biking). We toured from Yarmouth (west) to Chatham (east) to Provincetown (north) with no traffic tie-ups from our central location, and had a wonderful week. This property is all about location, location, location--and old Cape Cod charm.

Cottage was nice and cosy, within walking distance to the shops and the beach. Easy drive to the rest of the Cape. The screened in porch is great for morning coffees and evening cocktails.
Down side the bathroom and the kitchen could of done with a bit more cleaning before we arrived. We throughly enjoyed our stay.
