This is a fine property, adjacent to Lakeside and half a block to the beach. It had much more room than I needed that year, but it's ideal for a large extended family.

Four adults and our five kids lived LARGE in this house! It was
clean, well laid out (except for a wee bit of "rising" noise that
carried up through the two story living room to the bedrooms
on the second floor) and well-appointed. Each upstairs
bedroom has a HUGE closet big enough for a pack and play or
blow up mattress -- and they have air vents so you don't have
to worry about shutting the doors! Consider those two extra
bedrooms. Great back yard for wiffle ball, our kiddie pool,
freeze tag and anything else you can imagine. The outdoor
shower was a huge hit. And the little "guest house" was so
charming! Excellent service from the rental company -- they
were there to fill the propane grill tank within an hour of calling!
Our ONLY complaint is that this house isn't right on the beach,
but it was still in a great location. We'd definitely recommend it
and hope to get back there ourselves soon.

We had a fabulous time. RSVP rentals was wonderful to
work with. The home and grounds were as described.
There was plenty of space for 4 families (12 people). The
kitchen was wonderful. It was a delight to be so close to
the beach. It was convenient to stores and other
amenities.

We were at Victory Garden's over New Year's as a big family, three grown sisters and their families. We just wanted a place for all of us to hang, play games, make good food and enjoy each other. The house was perfect. We did exactly those things with plenty of room for the kids to play, adults to cook and all of us to come together around the fire place. We loved the location and enjoyed a few walks to the beach. RSVP can't get the credit for this, but in our 24 hour stay, there was a beautiful 4 inch snowfall in the morning that added to the delight of our stay. The house has a lot of outdoor light and it was just as nice to watch the snow fall from the inside as was on the outside. It made our departure a reluctant one! We would definitely stay at Victory Gardens again.

We loved the house. The public space, kitchen-dining-living room was great for our extended family gatherings in the evenings. We especially liked the huge bench seating around the dining room table. We also got a lot of use out of the very large back yard and loved the close proximity to the beach. Loved the outdoor shower! Bedrooms were comfortable, although we couldn't figure out why there are room sized closets off of the upstairs bedrooms instead of more rooms or an additional bathroom. The connected 'guest house' attached to the garage was perfect for the teenage set. (We would have liked to have sofa beds on the first floor instead of the existing seating.)
Suggestions: The screened in 'breezeway' is an awkward space and not connected well to the main house (you have to enter through a bedroom). I would suggest expanding it to be large enough for an outdoor dining room and connecting it directly to the main dining room.
We would have preferred better options on window treatments. Many bedrooms and bathrooms had only sheer curtains and we would have liked better privacy and sun control.
Small complaint: When we arrived there was only one bathroom that had liquid hand soap. Otherwise there was no soap provided.
