Awesome vacation home right off of Duval Street
We stayed in the artist House right off of Duval St and had a great time. It's very close to shopping and the famous bars you must frequent when visiting Key West including Sloppy Joe's, Margaritaville, Hog's Breath, Irish Kevins, and Fat Tuesdays. Irish Kevins was by far our favorite hang out spot. I definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a great time in the heart of Key West. More...

Key West artist House
The artist House in Duval Square is a very nice place. You can't beat the location. Other than the price being a little high, you can't beat this place for location, amenities, security, covered parking, etc. More...

Would come back again!
We had a wedding at the Casa Marina to attend and the artist House was in a great central location to get to the wedding at the hotel and all the other festivities on the other end of Duval. The house was perfect for what we needed. We felt at home as soon as we got there. I am so glad I found this place on line. Check in aand out was a breeze and the receptionist was so nice. Lida, was who I went through and she couldn't have been more helpful and patient when it came to us deciding which unit we wanted. I cannot wait to come back next year! More...

The art gallery end of Duval
This property is very conveniently located: right on Duval without all the craziness. Brs were ideally furnished for two couples (i.e. no twin beds), and we appreciated amenities such as hot tub, balcony, W&D;, pool area, covered parking. Two maintenance issues: phone and one stove burner did not work. And the place is full of the owner's art, including some murals. We also found his art in a restaurant nearby. More...

Wonderful Stay
A group (13) of us came in during Fantasy Fest and 5 of us stayed in the artist House and it was wonderful. The decor of the artists work are wonderful, they gave a homey feeling to the condo. Only thing I would suggest is that you have more cook wear (Bowls) and only the small burners on the stove would work. We had a issue with the Hot tub, but they came right out and fixed it for us.We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again. I will definitely recommend at Home of Key West!!! More...

Best choice in Key West with a group.
I did a lot of research when looking for a place to stay with a group of people. You don't get the housekeeping service thay you would at a hotel. That's why I didn't rate the service portion of this survey. The hotels in the area cost the about the same. For the cost and the number of people that can comfortably stay here it was a perfect choice. The location on Duval St, for those that are in Key West to do what so many are there for :-)...perfect. Walking distance to all the popular bars. And if there are some that just can't make that Duval crawl at closing time, the guys on the bike taxis are all over the place. Had to get one, cost $17.50. I will be staying here again if going with a group. More...

Kitchen floor needed washing and ther eis one rooster that crows at 6:30 am right outside the window. LOL know cant do anything but stinks after night at the bars. No internet. have to piggy off unsecured wirless with low signal. we all had fun. Thanks would rent it again. More...

Great Artist's hideaway in Key West
Even though I left my opinions in a form when I dropped off my keys, I will say it again. It was a great location. The rooms were a nice size. Everything was a bit dated and could stand a livening up. It was a bit dreary and because of the cold temps maybe the 2 birds could be heard screeeching through the walls all day. Ths pool could use a heater and some new lounge chairs. It just wasnt up to the standards of Key West. I've stayed in about 8-10 places in the last 2 years and I don't believe I would stay there again. The artwork was interesting and unique and I did enjoy that. There was a lighting problem in the kitchen that was promptly fixed when I called but it stopped working again the next day. The ants returned as well even though we didnt eat there. They must like coffee. I'm probavly complaining too much but the biggest problem I had in Key West was something you absolutely had no control over and that was the temps. I probably wouldn't have been in the house for 1/3 of the time if it had been warm. Oh well, I guess you make the best of it . It was significantly colder at home

Would Stay Here Again
We had very good service from At Home in Key West. Everything was in order when we arrived fairly late at night. We had good directions and easy access to the parking garage. The home was spacious and clean. The place was rather musty and the AC needs to be serviced. It seemed to be warmer inside than out and rather humid inside.
It was a 2 bedroom, 2 and a half bath. It also had a pullout couch. We had a total of 6 people and had enough room for all of us. We all enjoyed the owner's artwork - which is displayed throughout the entire place. The kitchen was functional with coffee maker, stove, microwave, and fridge. The plates, silverware, and cookware came in handy. The hot tub was a nice feature and was used after the long days of walking everywhere. The location is wonderful: close to all of the action of Duval, but tucked away from all of the noise. It is close to some wonderful restaurants and shops. I appreciated the gated community that the place is in as well as the secure parking garage. It's a peaceful place close to everything. Again the musty smell and AC needs work - if that can be attained - then I would give this place 5 stars.

PERFECT PLACE!
We were looking for a honeymoon spot, and I found @Home in Key West thru KeyWest.com. After doing some research, I decided this place had the best of everything; hot tub, washer/dryer, lots of space, on Duval, and WIRELESS NET (perhaps one of the most important for us).
This place was, in fact, steps from Duval, and on the quiet end. But, that said, it was still a VERY short walk away from the night action. We were SO happy with the location. You really couldnt have a better spot!
The condo was also in a convenient area with a fabulous restarant downstairs, and what us Northerners refer to as a "quickie-mart" only feet away as well. Duval Square truly is in the middle of everything: great shopping, entertainment, and relaxation (ie: beach, butterfly preserve)
Property very clean, appealing to the eye as far as decor goes. Overall, HIGHLY recommended for any occasion! We already decided we were going to try to rent again for our 1 year anniversary. :o) More...

Great Stay
Spent a week here and it was a great place. Location was great and far enough away from the bars so no noise. The parrots in the square and the roosters crowing might get on your nerves. Nice pool area and great place to watch a parade down Duvall Street.

OK, but not Great
The overall experience was OK, but in our unit the A/C didn't work well, the garbage disposal was broken, and the swimming pool was 104 degrees. Hotter than the hot tub. Also the elevator broke down with my 78 yr old mother-in-law inside and I had to crawl out and down and go get help. Took over two hours to get my mother-in-law out. Lucky there weren't health issues since the elevator's A/C didn't work.
Positives were the location, right on Duval. Nice bedrooms, good laundry, very comfortable unit, and completely equipped with everything to have a great vacation (towels, plenty of dinnerware, good appliances.
Advertised with good security, but it seemed every visitor propped open the locked doors so there wasn't any "security".
I think if our family does this vacation again we will look towards Truman Annex at it seemed more secure. More...

A good space
Overall the space was adequate for our needs. However, there were a couple of issues which were not addressed. Hot tub needed chlorine, ice maker and garbage disposal were non working. We called management office and were told that maintenance would be sent. In the 6 day stay, no one appeared. As well, because of the renovations on the outside, there was debris everywhere on the exterior and some of this went into the pool. Therefore, the pool was not usable. Other than that, the space of the Artist house was quite comfortable and enjoyable. More...

Great rental--funky art
Great condo. The art alone is worth the rent--like staying in a funky gallery. Loved the complex. Very well outfitted with convenient toiletries, etc. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Short walk to everything.
