This attractive condo was roomy and convenient. Steps away were the pool and an elevator to a private parking area. At street level were two fine restaurants and a multitude of services including a trolley stop, scooter rentals, a drug store, even a medical clinic. Despite all of this activity, the unit was quiet and scenic. From the balconies at tree level, you could enjoy a cup of coffee in the gulf breezes while listening to nearby roosters. I must 1st preface my comments by saying my wife and I are Realtors in a vacation town. We stayed at duval square 2 yrs. Ago and found that unit to be poor. This unit was better. We really like the location of the complex and love that there is a secure garage for parking. @home in Key West did a great job. The unit was clean, ready on time, and they were able to resolve a Comcast cable issue for us in less than 24 hours (wow). The unit had a fun, island feel in its decor. However, things were sloppy. Details like the paint job, the refinish job on the floors. Toilet paper holder was loose. Etc. Everything was amateur and sloppy. The common areas of the property were just as bad. Clearly, the property needs more maintenance than it is receiving. The place just feels "low rent". However, when researching properties on line, the actual rent doesn't seem all that low.
We will probably, look to stay somewhere else on our next trip.
I hope this review is helpful, it was my attempt to be constructive with my criticism and I hope I was.

My husband and I shared Caribbean Duval with 2 single friends, and it was perfect. Each bedroom (1 with a king bed, 1 with 2 twin beds) has a private bath, so no worries about getting in each others' way. Close to all the action on Duval, but gated, so still private. There's a great restaurant downstairs, and the pool was small, but very nice. We would definitely stay here again! More...

The townhome, Carribean Duval, was one of the most comfortable places I have stayed. Its casual decor, spacious interior,and great location made it the perfect place to enjoy Key West.

It was clean upon arrival, with plenty of linens and other necessities. And Carole with at Home in Key West, Inc. was very helpful and responsive to our needs.

I thought the townhouse was really clean, welcoming, and comfortable. I loved the entry area wall mural and the master bedroom balcony. The location off Duval is prime, yet we were above any noises. The pool area was clean and relaxing, although the pool is only 4 feet deep; great for a cooling dip, not much for a lap swim. We were definitely in the heart of all the sights and action. Great location on Duval. Duval Square condos had security gates to enter stairs and elevator area. The attractive condo was well equipped and comfortable. Both bedrooms had private baths, and there was a 1/2 bath on the first floor. It was roomy inside and had 2 private decks, one on each floor. The condo was very well appointed and surprisingly quiet for the neighborhood. (With the exception of the Key West Eagles) The location was ideal for walking to all tourist venues and we discovered 2 excellent restaurants within walking distance. Had a hotel booked that was about a half mile from Duval...found this place at the last minute and jumped on it. I (and all of my friends) were so glad we switched...location was great and it was way more comfortable than a hotel room. @homekeywest was very easy to deal with and I felt charged us a very fair rate for the weekend. Stayed at Bahama Dreaming last year (which was even nicer, but unavailable during our last stay)...but would definitely stay at Caribbean Duval again! More...

We were very pleased with the location and the security of the entire facility (parking and condo). The condo was very nicely furnished and had pretty much everything we needed (could use some new pots). The bedline wasn´t changed, and we found the sheets dirty and small bugs on it. The rest of the house was perfectly cleaned and we enjoyed our weekend there.

It was extremely hot when we visited Key West this past July. However, it was nice to come in each day and relax in the comfortabble surroundings of Carribean Duval. It was spacious enough to accomodate the 4 of us comfortably. I am always skeptacle of staying somewhere that I haven't seen before or known someone that has stayed there. I was pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend this condo to anyone.

The web site was great in helping make choices about which condo to rent. Price was more affordable than the hotels. The condo was clean, spacious and had all the kitchen items we needed as we didn't eat all meals out. The air condition worked!!!!! The location was a bit far from the other end of Duval where my college girls wanted to hang out. No one complained though, just too darn hot and humid to walk down that far but we did anyway. Would rent again especially traveling with families as you have more space than a hotel. Wish the pool was bigger or at least deeper and maybe a few umbrellas to help with shade would be nice. This property was not only beautiful, convenient, and fun but it was
very reasonably priced. We loved it! I have been to the keys many
times but this was the nicest place I have ever stayed in. If it is
available, take it. You will not regret it. The balconies have great
views, the rooms are big, we loved it.

Our stay over Christmas was perfect. Our late check-in on Christmas Eve had me filled with trepidation, but the keys were exactly as directed and the checkin was flawless. The condo was in a perfect location and condition,the decor was delightful, and it was very quiet. It was also amazingly well furnished with every amenity including dishwashing soap, Tide, etc. Considering the other prices we checked, this condo was also a great bargain for a group of 5 in the busiest week of the year. All the nearby restaurants, ice cream shops, etc mean no car is necessary--next time we will save a bundle by not renting a car. And the bicycle/scooter rental across the street solves any transportation needs.

One tiny complaint was that the private patio was unattended and full of dead leaves/mold. We spent all our coffee and newspaper time at the pool, which was lovely and very close, but it would have been nicer if the patio had been usable.

This was a great vacation for the family and the Townhouse made it even better. The location was outstanding. A nice quiet end of Duval St. but close enough to walk to all the excitement. We were able to cook our fish from our deep sea fishing trip and share with the family. Great cost savings. At Home in Key West made everything seamless with our hectic schedule of arrival and departure. Everything was waiting for us when we arrived in the middle of the night.

We've been coming to Key West for 10 years and rented various places on the island. I would definitely rent this townhouse again. Location was good and the house was in great shape. Had everything we needed and very comfortable. Our only issue and it really wasn't a big deal, they were doing window replacement and painting on some of the units while we were there. There just was a lot of activity in the common areas during the day. But it wouldn't stop us from renting again. More...

Wonderfully nice, lots of room, 100 feet from the main drag and still qu1et at night. We slept great while we were there. Nice restaurants just at your doorstep. A 3-4 block walk to a wonderful pastry shop and a coffee roaster. A pool on the condo residence, two porches to hang out on. 4-5 blocks from the southern most point in the US. Centrally and conveniently located to all atractions in Key West. Even though you are right on Duval Street the condo is very quiet and relaxing. You are above the street noise and traffic in a quiet,cozy retreat. The layout works perfectly with a kitchen-great room, patio on the first floor and the two bedreooms up. Steps away from everything!

I have traveled to Key West many times in the past and stayed at some very exceptional places, however; At Home Key West really took care of me and my party like no others before! Our accommodations were more than what we expected and the value was unprecedented! It was clean, close and quiet, what more could you ask for. I will be returning to Key West in the spring and I hope that the Carribean Duval is available again.

This rental is very large for a condo rental. It is also very close to Old Town and great shops. The only issue I had was from the pictures there was gorgeous greenery everywhere but when I stayed there, all of the plant beds were being painted. It was slightly disappointing, but the condo itself was clean and they even had champagne and flowers as requested. It was very large. I would definetly recommend coming to stay in this nice place!
