Stayed here with two other couples 2/11/12 to 2/18/12. Home is more beautiful than photos show. Gorgeous master suite on 2nd floor. All new baths. Everything we needed was there. We received very good service. Everyone was efficient. The cottage was clean and well kept. The location could not be beat for the closeness to Duval street, local restaurants,
drug stores and even a small market. We loved the privacy of the cottage and having our own pool to relax in after a day of sightseeing. We would have liked to have cable tv in all the bedrooms. The upstairs tv reception was not very good. It was great to have WiFi.

Great location and price! House was clean and very spacious. Overall visit was wonderful but there were a few things that could have been better. Each bedroom needs a TV and the pool is shaded almost every hour of the day. We went to Key West with friends to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and had a blast! We can't say enough great things about our vacation in Key West. This home was just like staying at a friends house. The rooms were comfortable, the house was immaculate, and everything you needed for your stay was provided. We especially loved the pool area, the landscaping gave you all the privacy you could want. No need to rent a car! You really are around the corner from all the action but surprisingly you never hear it from the home (Don't know how that is possible but it is). The house was better in person than pictures. It is a great location for all the nightlife on Duval and Mallory Square. Not a far walk to the Southernmost Point either. The house was really great. It was just big enough and the back yard is really amazing with the grill, patio and pool. It did cost quite a lot, but the location made it worthwhile. The rental agency was basically non-existent, and a little forward with their e-mails and payment requirements. This was our second stay at "Bahama Dreaming". After a few minor kinks were worked out upon our arrival we had a great vacation. The staff at at Home in Key West addressed these concerns in a professional and timely manner, much of it probably having to do with us being the first occupants in several weeks. It is amazing that you are so close to Duval Street but feel like you are in a tropical oasis. It is also very quite given the short distance to all of the action. This was my second time staying in Bahama Dreaming. You really can't beat this location in terms of being near restarants, bars, etc. Only downside is that this is not a house to stay in if you like to sleep in late. We had the best time at Bahama dreaming the house really is the perfect place for relaxing, soicalizing, eating and chilling out! We had no complaints whatsoever. The place was neat and clean we had plenty of towels and linens. The only thing I can say is while we were there, there was a power outage in most of Key West for approx. 25 minutes, we had no flashlights or candles, we found some birthday candles in the pantry which saved the night, we lit them and sat on the back porch waiting for the power to return. Bahama Dreaming is in a good location but needs to have the living/eating space redecorated. The living room sofa should be carried to the curb (college furniture). House was well stocked. The main floor bathroom opens into the living room. Outdoor eating area looks over a lush backyard and nice pool but the eating area is dark and dingy with uncomfortable seating. Service from At Home was good and prompt when the banister on the staircase was shaky and unsafe. I would rent from At Home again but not this house.

This is in the CENTER of where you want to be in Key West, tucked away on a small side street half a block from Duval Street. We literally walked to every single thing we wanted to go see. The house is immaculate, the beds are amazing, the bathrooms are perfect. The pool has a waterfall! The grill worked, the kitchen was beautiful. I really can go on and on about this place but all I will say is 5 stars is just not enough. Amazing, amazing find.

We chose this house based on the location - which was perfect for being in walking distance to all the night life. We rented bikes for our daily outings to the beaches and the wharf. The house is cozy, beautifully decorated and a great place to relax...my college aged kids enjoyed relaxing in the pool everyday after whatever day trip we had planned.

Issues with the house are pretty much stated in other reviews - it's a busy street early in the morning (6am) with deliveries to Fausto's (grocer) and the roosters start crowing at 2am. This is mostly an issue for any light sleepers in the house -specifically those in the front bedroom. We bought a box fan for the upstairs bedroom that blocked out all noise ($20 investment was well worth the sleep).

The house is well equipped with everything you might need for "living" - cooking, drinking, relaxing and having fun - though an upgrade to the stereo to a system that plays MP3s is suggested and some speakers on the deck would be a nice addition. More...

An excellent property convenient in the center of Old Town.

Attractive and well-kept, the Bahama Street property was clean,
well-appointed and comfortable.

All services were easy to use and the team responsive.

Parking is limited to one space on the property and that is tight if guests have
a large vehicle. Multiple guests in the house resulting in multiple vehicles will
have to use public parking, an expensive drawback. (One should avoid
keeping a vehicle in Key West if possible.)

The televisions need to be upgraded. For as pleasant as the property was, and
for the price, the televisions were a disappointment.

Rented Bahama Dreaming for a long weekend to catch up with old friends. The house is lovely and the location can't be beat. The pool and back deck are to die for! I actually took pictures of the decorating for ideas at my own home. Had a wonderful weekend and will definitely come back in the future. Highly recommended!

We thought the Home was absolutely great!!!!
Then the weather turned cold, cold, cold, As
we understand it it was the coldest they had
seen in over three years.
Sadly, though, we were left with no heat and
two of our six in the party ended up at the
hospital. Our dissapointment comes in the fact that we were to be given a refund to be
shared by all 3 couples, but to date have not gotten it nor have we been contacted since the initial pledge was made.
Again, we understand the weather is not any one's fault, however, no heat in 39 degree weather for 3 nights and 4 days is definitely not the fault of couples who rent either.
Several attempts made and no satisfaction this long makes our party definitely looking elsewhere for the coming winters!!!!

We had a wonderful relaxing time in Key West. The property was in beautiful shape. The best feature is the pool. The house was well equipped with anything we needed. There were a few boards on the deck that needed attention. We started every morning with coffee, books, a swim and breakfast pool side. The pool man is adorable. Always a plus. :)
There is one issue with the location. The house sits between two parking lots and across from a grocery store. People come and go and there are deliveries early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper this could be a problem. It didn't bother us because the two roosters across the street already had us up. Night time it is quiet. We loved the house. It was a sunny retreat for 3 sisters to gather. A great family house and perfect location to walk everywhere.

My whole family stayed here, a total of 7 of us, with one baby. This is not only the cleanest, well decorated, chic and comfortable house that i found, but it had all the most considerate accomodations as well. in the laundry room we found blow-up toys and sand toys for the baby and swimming pool. there were even cards, poker chips and every type of wine glass, margharita glass for every alcohol occasion! it's immaculate and one block from the famous duvall street. we won't stay anywhere else again. the management is as nice as can be and are there 24/7 willing to help you feel at home. it's the first and definitely not last time that we stay in this house. We had a fabulous time for 10 days in Key West celebrating my husband's 60th birthday with the family. The house was everything we were hoping for via the internet pictures!! Any future renter will not be disappointed. We spent most of our house time on the deck overlooking the pool and had many of our meals there as the weather fully cooperated. This location is great as it is right around the corner from Duval Street yet with the private yard, etc., you never feel the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. Our only glitch was the $35.00 parking ticket that we received for "parking against the traffic". The house was so nice. Location was perfect! We could walk anywhere in 5 minutes. Loved the pool but wish it wasn't so shaded. We had to go to the beach to lay out in the sun. I've been to Key West twice before, but this was far an away the best time I have ever had!!! The location of the house is perfect, literally walking distance to everything - the only time we drove was to get groceries the first night. We could even walk to the pier when we went deep sea fishing, and we walked to the dive area to go scuba diving. The entire experience was phenominal!!! Not to mention the fact that there is an AMAZING pizza place literally one block from the front door that closes at 4 am, so it's never too late for a fresh pizza pie!!! Decent, small home with all of the necessary amenities and
close to town. We have rented many places in and around
Florida. This was a smaller home. The front bedroom faced the
road and was quite bright and loud early in the morning.

There was a lot of construction noise around, so, we
had to turn up our music when in the pool. The pool was
beautiful but there were no pool toys. They did supply them
when we asked. The nonstick pots and pans were all scratched
but when we told them this, they immediately came and
replaced them. We also had some problems with contacting
someone to help us with the problems in the house.

Weather was nice. Maybe when the construction stops, it may
be a more relaxing place.
