| My family has visited Sunset Beach for 12 years. We've tried a few other beaches in NC and SC, but nothing ever compares to Sunset. I've stayed a many different homes during those 12 years, but I would have to say I will do my best to book this home again. It has a great floor plan with 2 1/2 baths, plus a shower underneath the house as well. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. It appears that the home has been recently renovated. It is a short walk to the beach. The front porch is screened in and has a fan to keep the air moving....great place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee early in the morning. The house faces east, so you miss the beautiful sunsets, but there's always a great view nearby. If you've never visited Sunset Beach, you are in for a treat. Take the long walk west on the beach and visit the "Kindred Spirit" mailbox.....great trip to make very early in the morning or late in the evening at dusk. We found many sand dollars and several star fish along the way. Calabash is close by (10 minutes) for great seafood at Beck's or the Seafood Hut. Twin Lakes Seafood is directly on the causway at Sunset bridge and is also excellent. Or you can head over to Ocean Isle Beach (4 miles) and visit Sharky's for lunch or dinner. You can be in North Myrtle Beach in 30 minutes if you just have to be in a crowd, but you'll love the peaceful, laid back atmosphere in Sunset Beach. |

"My ship's Inn" is an excellent beach rental. It has all the "amenities" which helped make our stay very comfortable. All the cooking utensils we needed were there. We slept very well in comfortable beds. The TVs, Internet access, and DVD capabilities were all great. And the house has good access to the beach. We had a comfortable and relaxing week mostly because we had a great rental. We hated to see our week end, but we'll be back.

We have stayed at this beach house before and it is fantastic every time!! We have been going to Sunset Beach for the last 18 years. We have tried other places, but we always come back to Sunset. My Ships Inn is a perfect house. It is not too far from the beach. The layout is roomy. We greatly appreciate the recent updates! This time though we did notice new matresses - and they are very firm - actually hard!
Everything in the house is in good working condition. The kitchen is nicely stocked. We cook in for most of our meals at the beach and we do not need to bring cooking supplies - everything is there!
Keep it up - We love Sunset Beach and My Ships Inn!! Thanks for sharing your house with us! |

The house is beautiful and full of light inside. The living room is great, with lots of comfortable couches and seating. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the wireless internet a plus.
Improvements: would love to have had more than one DVD player. |

| Great home. Very nicely furnished, bright, colorful, and clean. Open loft made great escape zone while sill able to keep and eye on kids. Overall one of the nicest properties we've rented. Would recommend it to anyone. |
