Beds are comfortable. Great dishes and glassware. We love this cottage!!!
Pans are ok, but need more bowls or baskets to put salads, fruit in.
Knives were terrible. Unable to cut straight.
Love the round table in the living room, wonderful for the kids to sit.
Enjoy the screened porch and the dock.
We have brought a volleyball net to tie onto the loft railing to keep little ones from falling between the slats.
Request for repair was prompt.
Dryer stopped mid cycle as it was "too hot". Repair was done,but it did it again while we were there.
Linens from previous renter was left on chair in living room. It was not bagged. It seems the cleaning crew &/or the inspector should have cleaned it up. We bagged it, and took it downstairs. It smelled of urine, so it would have been good to have been bagged. |

Beautiful Bay View |

A lovely bayside home, decorated in typical Sunset Beach style, which is showing moderate wear and is in need of a few improvements.
Although the kitchen is generally well equipped, if you love to cook, bring your own knives! |

| We had a great time at this house. Great view of the canal from a very large deck. Good fishing off the deck as well. Loved the close beach access that did not have any stairs which made bringing everything to the beach so much easier. |

Beautiful sunset views |

We stayed in this beautiful bay front home for two weeks in May. Unfortunately, we had a problem with ants for a few days. The management at Sunset Properties was very helpful in sending maintenance to (1) spread bug killer in the kitchen, (2) place ant traps when bug killer wasn't effective enough and (3) set off a bug bomb when options 1 and 2 just weren't doing the trick. After the bomb was set, we did not have another problem. Each time we called maintenance, someone was there within the hour.
I would recommend the house because of the great views, especially of the sunset, and overall condition of the house. The furniture and carpeting in the living room were fairly new and very comfortable. The beds were wonderful. We all slept very well. The bedrooms are large and roomy.
It is a short walk to the beach which is clean and family friendly. We have vacationed at Sunset Beach for the past 10 years and this is probably the best house we have rented. |
