| We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hilton Head. Our villa in Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort had everything we needed with plenty of room and a warm decor. We were convenient to everything. We spent plenty of time on the beach and in area activities. We enjoyed the great restaurants but also found the villa kitchen well equipped if we wanted to stay in. We spent time in Harbor Town and took in the fire works at Shelter Cove. With two teenage girls on our trip, the extra bed and bath made getting ready after a day at the beach much nicer. Thank you for hosting a great vacation! |

This residence was perfect for a homey stay in Savannah. It was clean and
inviting and in a terrific location. I didn't get in my car the whole
time I was there due to everything being in walking distance. I very much
appreciate that this condo was pet friendly and will certainly rent it
again if I return to Savannah. Thank you!

| our stay was as wonderful this year as the many other years we have rented from The Dieter Company. The office staff is always welcoming, and the cleaning staff does an amazing job of preparing for us. The mattress in the master bedroom of one of the units we rented needs replacing badly... has for a couple of years... but we have been pleased thru the years with the replacements we have suggested and happily enjoyed when we arrive. Keep up the good work! |

| Under The Tybee Sun is a lovely, tastefully-furnished and extremely well-appointed beach home. Its location mid-island makes it convenient to everything without being in the middle of the tourist hubub. The neighborhood is quiet, making the house a peaceful retreat. While the home is not located directly on the beach, it is only a very short walk to the nearest beach access. Unlike many homes on Tybee, there is plenty of parking, which can be very important in a larger home. There were ten of us staying in the home, ranging in ages from ten months to seventy years, and we were all quite comfortable at all times. The staff of Mermaid Cottages was excellent and responded to all our requests in a very timely manner. I have already told many friends and family about this beach home, and if I ever return to stay at Tybee Island I will definitely contact Mermaid Cottages. |

The cabin was as advertised and the sunsets, outdoors and wildlife were incredible.
The proximity to a local store however was not! Make sure to bring all you need unless you prefer to spend 2 hours of your vacation driving to and from the nearest store.

| Yes, Wray is a rural community, so most stores and shops are a good 20 minute drive from most homes. We recomend you pick up your food, beverages, etc. before you arrive to save yourself a trip to the store. |

| Our children occupied this comfortable cottage from June 28 - July 5 and had a most pleasant stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds comfortable, the furnishings simple, understated and tasteful. Everything well-maintained. We hope to rent this same cottage again soon and appreciate your recommendation. |

The Golden Egg |

I believe that this was the sixth consecutive year that we have spent an
enjoyable family vacation in "The Golden Egg." The rental property has been
well-maintained and appropriately stocked with kitchen appliances and equipment
(we have yet to find the "wet bar" in the loft, however). The five large-screen
TVs with VCR/DVD's were in good working order and there was an ample supply of
VCR tapes for our viewing (although our grandson had the TV in the living room
tied up with his Wii most of the time). As a follow-up to a comment made after
our stay last year, we were pleased to see that a ceiling fixture had been added
in the dining area.
Our one criticism concerns the condition of (or lack of) chairs on the front
porch and rear decks. There was a total of four rocking chairs, one of which
was broken, on the lower rear deck, one chair on the upper deck, and one
plastic chair (which left white marks on my Son's shorts) on the front porch.
While we have reserved "The Golden Egg" for the same week next year, we will
likely seek other accommodations as the rental cost are taxes on the "Egg" are
getting to be too high for a week's stay at the beach. |

The Beach Fox is great for small families. Parking can be a little
challenging when all units are rented but it is a great location to the
store and pier. It was very clean, neat and great decorations. The
baby equipment including the stroller and crib attire was helpful and
cut down on packing for the beach. The baby gear was a big help!

| It was a great location, a nice place to stay, in generally good condition and a great rate. The only criticism was the sleep sofa, which was comfortable as a couch, but very uncomfortable as a bed. We ended up removing the mattress so that my son could sleep on the floor. |

Dune Tootin #3 is a very clean, comfortable unit with a wonderful deck that overlooks the marsh and offers lovely sunset views.
It is very clean and comes adequately equipped to cook and eat indoors or on the deck. There are a few extra features that we have enjoyed :wireless connection , air conditioning, and the washer and dryer.
East Sandwich beach is a wonderful spot…..We’ve been coming there for 25 years. It’s part of our own history.

We always enjoy our stay at Sunset Beach and Calabash area. We like the quite and still a short drive to Barefoot Landing and Myrtle Beach. We have been coming there for approx. 12 years. We love it so much we bought some land in the area.
The island is very quite and this is the first year we had noise from the house next door that kept the baby up. This was handled very nicely and the police really knew their jobs (took the alcohol with them!

My husband and I have owned Wolf Laurel Cabin for approximately 3 years now. We have really enjoyed decorating it and making it a real gem in the woods for our guests. We have attempted to think of everything anyone would need for a home away from home. Our cabin is located in a 5,000 acre gated resort community. Amenities include a swimming pool, fishing pond, tennis courts, horseback riding, and winter skiing. There are miles of hiking trails including on-site access to the Appalachian Trail. Nearby you can enjoy white water rafting and mountain biking.
Asheville is only a short drive away with many great restaurants and interesting things to do, the Biltmore House probably being the most popular. Also nearby attractions for day-trips include Mount Mitchell, Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Tweetsie Railroad, Blue Ridge Parkway, Chimney Rock, Maggie Valley, Ghost Town in the Sky, Cherokee Indian Reservation and many more.
The things our guests comment on the most are the hot tub and wood burning fireplace. Most of all they say they appreciate escaping their hectic lives for the quietness and tranquility of our mountain hideaway.
If you are seeking a great mountain vacation with many amenities and activities for your family's enjoyment, come stay at our Wolf Laurel Cabin.

We were in Savannah to go to our daughter's graduation froom SCAD. I
wanted a house to rent so we could accomodate grandparents without
renting two hotel rooms. We also needed a place to sit and socialize
when resting between events. We also had drop- in visits from our
daughter's friends and family after the graduation. We were able to
serve hors'dourves and dessert and wine. Lots of pictures were taken
of the happy grads. We were happy too because we could sit on
comfortable furniture, sleep in comfy beds and have a good night's
sleep on a quiet tree-lined street. This is the second time I have
stayed in one of your rentals. I was very happy both times. Thank you
for having a well stocked kitchen. We didn't have to buy any
paper/plastic products for our party. Everything worked well.
P.S.The dryer does not dry things very well. Perhaps a plugged vent pipe? |

Here is my review in short - I love the property itself - but this year the people above us (not the individual woman, but the other new tenant) made so much noise throughout the night that I did not get much sleep on any evening I stayed there. Therefore - when I look at properties to come to next early May - I think I will ask for a Mermaid property that is only one level - or has a top level we can rent. I am usually not picky and the M Paddy Cakes cottage is super - but the women who moved in there trekked around from 11 pm to 4 am and one night talked with a male for several hours between 3:30 am and 5:30 am. It was unbearable. It affected both of us who stayed in the lower level.

Our recent Tybee Vacation was amazing. We planned a spur of the moment
getaway and Dianne was most accomodating to our quick needs. The house
was clean, comfortable and everything we could wish for. The extra
effort that was given for our middle of the night arrival was much
appreciated. We will be staying with Mermaid on all of our future Tybee
vacations!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The condo was great. It was so clean and spacious. The back patio was a great place to eat breakfast and watch the golfers. It also was so nice to be able to have our dogs with us!
We loved biking and walking on the bike trails in the plantation. We also loved the convenience of getting to the beach.
We hope to stay with you guys again in the future.

Villamire was delightful. Location and amenities were just what we wanted.
Only improvement would be a new coffee pot. The 2 parts of the one we had
didn't fit together. Otherwise, if we come down next spring we would be
more than happy to rent there again. |

Overall stay was great.
What can you do to make it better?
#1 Owner really needs to purchase a big screen TV for the living room.
Current TV is small...new big screen TV's are very affordable..and make
the stay more like home.
#2 Wire-less computer connection for that unit did not work. I tried the
pass code multiple times. Good news...I was able to use the wireless
Connections from several other units. Although routinely got knocked
off. Need better connections.
#3 And this does not apply directly to the unit...it was really hard to make
and/or stay connected on a cell phone.
We even had issues talking to people in Ft. Myers. Others said..they
had the same issue. It's been like this for years. The entire island needs
to get this fixed. This will prevent me from staying on the island
in the future.
