Description
Cozy is a spacious fully furnished self catering studio apartment that sleeps up to 3 people with a very comfortable double bed. Cozy Studio is a stylish and spacious apartment in a new basement.
Location: It is perfectly located in a very quiet courtyard with no street traffic in only 2 min. walking distance from Reykjavik center square where you'll find the cities best restaurants, cafes, galleries, bars, shops and museums. In the neighborhood you'll also find a variety of Icelandic seafood restaurants, low price grocery stores and the old charming harbor area with shops and restaurants.
- Amenities:
- Free Internet: Cozy has free high speed Internet (FIBER OPTIC / LAN cable provided - NO WiFi), flatscreen TV with a selection of International channels and Internet TV options.
- Bathroom: has a tiled shower and a washing machine.
- Kitchen: a kitchenette with a two ring ceramic cooking unit, toaster, water boiler, press can coffee maker, pots, pans and basic utensils.
- Bedroom: has a 160x200 cm. double bed with a designer head board with dimmer lights.
- Entrance: Private entrance with your own key.
- Size: Cozy is very spacious or approx. 40 sqm. big (430 sqf.) in total.
- Lighting: Cozy Studio is very bright since it has 4 windows in the main area, 3 main ceiling lights (60W bulbs in each), 5 wall lights (40W bulbs in each) and the designer head board above the bed with dimmer lights on both sides or 10 lights in total in the main area with 3 main switches. It also has a reading lamp on the nightstand and a cozy floor lamp for more ambience.
- Style: the apartment was designed in a fusion style with focus on showing the raw materials (Scandinavian style) but with warm natural colors and simple and appealing decor.

“Cozy with great location”
One block from the marina, close to restaurants and shops. Clear instructions, friendly host, clean and nice accommodations. Great stay!

We ourselves always like to stay in apartments on our travels instead of small hotel rooms and want our guests to experience Cozy Studio as a home away from home. It's true that the house can be difficult to find, even though we send all guests a link to a map and detailed directions but that is also the reason it is so quiet and cozy even being in the old centre, only 2 min. walk from the centre square and old harbour with all the restaurants and other services. Again, thank you so much for choosing Cozy Studio and we look forward to seeing you again in the future, hopefully.

Response from the owner Hi again and thank you for choosing our Cozy Studio for your stay in Reykjavik. I am very sorry to hear that the work on the electricity affected your stay. Our goal is always not to distract our guests in any way if possible. This particular incident was unique because of unforeseen circumstances and the electricians plan was to finish the work before 5 PM. On the other hand the breaker cabinet is not inside the apartment but in the stairway outside the perimeter of the apartment as described with pictures in our listings. Again, I'm sorry if this was a trouble to you but feel that it was mainly caused by the fact that you used the bathroom to smoke inside the apartment which is not allowed and you didn't want the electrician to notice it. I know this for a fact since the went from the bathrooms lead to our front door steps. Also there we cigaret stubs in the trash after you checked out which have admitted in our previous email communications. Regards, Sveinn

We know that most people like to have Wi-fi but we are somewhat specialists in the effects of wireless microwave radiation and decided not to have it in our house after IARC categorised it as possible carcinogen in 2011. Latest research like NTP and Hardell to name someone, and big groups of specialists are supporting a higher classification, some even category 1 or carcinogen.
