ShrewsburyFantastic apartment in great location
Left on 02/17/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This apartment was perfect for our stay. Quiet, warm and incredibly well equipped. Dvds, books, magazines , and the kitchen had everything you could need.
A 5-10 minute walk from downtown Reykjavik and all it has to offer.
We were due to arrive at 1am and this didnt faze the owner ,Siggi, at all. He met us at the apartment and was a mine of useful information.
We have already enquired about a return visit... -

Left on 09/06/2012 for a stay in August 2012
This appartment provided all the comforts of home and was quiet. Free WiFi! Cable tv, movies, books, phone, and washer/dryer. We are a family 4 with 2 boys (11 & 14). There was enough space for us to spread out. Couch folds out to a bed. Kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots/pans, appliances. Grocery store, pool and downtown are within walking distance. Church was our landmark to get home. Siggi met us for an easy early check-in. No complaints, only praise. Thanks Siggi and Linda!

187050Comfortable, cosy, centrally located apartment
Left on 03/03/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We loved Linda and Siggi's apartment - the heating was effective so we felt really cosy. Having two sofas in the living room meant we could both stretch out, and there was a great choice of books, cds and dvds available. We loved the spaciousness, and the beds were really comfortable. Within 5-10 minutes we could walk to the heart of downtown, with the big church always our landmark if we got lost (not easy to do in this compact city!). The kitchen was well-equipped for those who like to cook (not us!), and I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone! Linda and Siggi met us on arrival - at 2am! - and were very friendly and welcoming.

We found the apartment to be great. It was bright and cheerful and clean with a large dining room and living room. The kitchen was well equiped for our 3 night stay. The apartment was very conveniently located for visiting downtown attractions and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again if we get back to Reykjavik!

SeattleComfortable, relaxed Reykjavik
Left on 11/26/2010 for a stay in October 2010
I stayed here with 3 friends over the time of Iceland airwaves. The apartment is spacious through the living an dining room although the bedrooms are a little on the small side so we kept our luggage in the dining rooms so we'd have room to move around the beds. The apartment was very light and had a great TV with a ton of movies that we watched a few of when we just wanted to chill. The Kitchen was exceptionally nice- very new with quality cooking tools and plenty of counter space. Siggi was extremely nice to book with and very accomodating of our needs (early check in). The location is a little bit far from Laugavegur (the main street) but is very near the church which is a great landmark to aim toward if you don't know your way around.

Highland Park, ILAn Excellent Place to Stay
Left on 11/25/2010 for a stay in August 2010
We stayed there a total of 3 nights (divided into 2 trips) as this was a stopping point for us on our way to France.
Although the street it is located on as well as the exterior of the building is drab, the location is centrally located (a residential block) and the inside of the unit is much better than would be expected from the outside.
Siggi was extremely accomodating in terms of early arrival/staying late and this was very much appreciated. -

We spent three nights in the appartment and had the best travel experience ever! Siggi met us at the appartment on our arrival and was very helpful with local tips. The appartment had everything we needed - books, linnens, staples in the kitchen (dishes, cookware, food staples such as oil and salt). The appartment building is well situated, in walking distance to the city center, supermarket and town pool. There was plenty of parking space on the street. Overall, it was great experience and we would definetly recoomend the appartment!
