Located in in a quiet and charming little street (Bjarnarstígur) in an older residential area downtown Reykjavik.
Playground for children only few meters away. Close to food stores and restaurants .

The apartment are located in a quiet and charming little street (Bjarnarstígur) in the old town part of Reykjavik city center. Playground outside the apartment.
The" Hallgrims Church " the biggest church in Iceland is within a 2 min walk from the apartment. The tower is 80 meters high. Good idea taking the elevator to the top. Closer to God and the view is fantastic.
Reykjavik´s oldest Swimming pool with hot pots .( 7 min. walk).
Grocery shop close to the apartment ( 2 min. ).
Everything you need and want to experience, is in a walking distance. Music, museums, theatres, art galleries,art and crafts, shops and excellent restaurants. Culture , tasty food and pleasure.
Parking outside the apartment.
The cheapest and easiest way to get to Reykjavik from Keflavik International airport is taking the Flybus Shuttle.
It is connected with every arriving flight and leaves approximately 35 minutes after each arrival.
Tickets can be bought inside the terminal building at their booth or in their ticket automat located by the exit door of the terminal building.
The Flybus makes a final stop at BSI Bus terminal in Reykjavik
From BSI busterminal it takes approximately 15 min to walk to our apartment at Bjarnarstígur 9 - 101 Reykjavík.
Taxis are available outside of the Bus terminal and it takes only a few minutes drive to the apartment.

I stayed here with my adult daughter for 6 nights. The apartment is nicely laid out so that the eating area is removed from the sleeping area. Everything in the apartment is new, very clean, and well thought out. The owners even have an umbrella for the renters' use. I would describe the environment as cheery. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, and the location is convenient to grocery stores and shops(1/2 block), and pick ups for tours. Owners live on the other side of the 1st floor...they are kind, friendly, and helpful,there if you need them, but they totally respect the privacy of the renters. There is a family upstairs who is quiet. The beds are firm enough...perfect. Personally I like a fluffier pillow, but I am extremely fussy about my pillow. We stayed at 3 places in Reykjavik, and this was by far the best! I would definitely stay there again!!!
