A 48 exit Ulmen, towards city center. Third roundabout, exit to Berenbach
From the North:
B 257 towards Kelberg, Ulmen, exit Hörschhausen, in the village right towards Berenbach.

The romantic towns and fascinating nature of the Eifel offer many opportunities for leisure activities.
The primal Eifel landscape holds an extensive network of hiking and bike trails such as the Lieserpfad, Eifelsteig or history road at Kelberg which invite you to extensive roams through intact nature.
Wide fields and steep vineyards, large reservoir lakes and small Maare, well-maintained half-timbered houses and old castles, knight’s games and car races, folklore and museums… the Eifel has all that to offer.
Destinations such as the Nürburgring, the Mosel, Luxembourg or a ride on the Eifelquerbahn train (with a stop in Berenbach) are additional fun possibilities to enjoy your vacation.
Lovers of history and nature, action and quiet, hikers and bikers will all find what they desire in the Eifel region.
The vacation apartment we offer is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. From Ulmen (2.5 km from here), you can hike through the Endert stream valley to Cochem on the Mosel and return with a bus available hourly.
The Traumpfade (dream paths), Lieserpfad and Eifelsteig are also worthwhile hiking trails.
Another possibility is the shorter tour from Berenbach through magnificent beech and fir forest to the Jungfernweiher close by Ulmen (which used to be a volcano) offering a beautiful circle through the bird sanctuary, and on through the historic center of Ulmen to the newest Maar (which is from only 200,000 years ago and can also be circumambulated).
The following bike paths are good for bike tours:
* Maare-Mosel bike trail
* Kosmos bike trail
* Elztal bike trail
* or it is possible to enjoy the mountains and valleys on an electrically assisted bike, available for rent at stations in Kelberg, Gunderath, Uersfeld and Daun)
The Center Park in Gunderath, not far from the apartment, offers a fun pool, sauna, tennis, squash, badminton, and bowling. A card with which you will get rebates at these facilities will be provided by us.
The Nürburgring race track lies 17 km from the apartment; its events for young and old are quite the experience.
