Real home from home in Rhos on Sea
Left on 04/28/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Just back from a 3 night mini break at this lovely holiday property.
Location - in a quiet street only three minutes walk from seafront promenade and small local shops. Bus stop to Llandudno and Colwyn Bay even closer. You could park your car and not touch it again until time to go home.
Rhos on Sea - a cracking sea side village that's not too overtaken by touristy stuff. Super local independent shops for home decor and vintage goods great for a mooch around.
Ate out most of the time and can vouch for the excellence of the Galleon fish and chip shop and the old fashioned La Dolce Vita Italian restaurant.
Natives were very friendly.
Decor - very modern and tastefully decorated and furnished. Central heating was brilliant in the chilly spring weather. Kitchen and bathroom like a show home. Useful utility room and downstairs loo. Small gravel and paved back garden
Cleanliness - immaculate! No worries about who else might have been there as you can have in other properties!
Best thing for me was that our dogs were very welcome and were provided with a dog bed, chew bone and bowls. Truly dog friendly and not just dogs tolerated as you find in other places.
Book it and enjoy - just leave me a bit of free space for our next break there please! -

This was our second time staying at 47 Colwyn Crescent and just like before we really enjoyed our break in Rhos. A bottle of wine and a treat for the dog are there to welcome you. The property is modern, clean and cosy. I particularly enjoyed the whirlpool bath after a day out walking on the great Orme at nearby Llandudno. The children liked riding the owners bikes along the cycle path on Rhos sea front. 'Oscar 'our labradoodle had a great time on the beach running around with other dogs. The property is close to the sea front, shops, pubs and takeaways, (very good fish and chips and a Indian takeaway. We will hopefully be back next year, but will have to book early to stay longer when it's warmer!

Left on 02/22/2013 for a stay in September 2012
3rd time back and still felt immediately at home when we walked through the front door. Although a few of the kitchen chairs were a little shabby this time and there was dust in areas you could plainly see, it didn't spoil our stay. The dog was happy with the ball and chew she found at the back of the sofa! The bedrooms were still nice with the beds as comfortable as ever (which is important). Had another really good break even though it was cold. Our dog still doesn't like your yard but that's her problem (fussy little madam).
Response from Inge Fisher - 02/22/2013
Owner
Hi Debbie, and thank you for your review! I am sorry about the dust - we were in the process of changing our cleaning provider when you stayed in September, but this is still not acceptable and please be assured that I will make sure it is spotless again for you next time! The bar stools in the kitchen are being replaced as we speak. I am glad you enjoyed your holiday, and I look forward to welcoming you back again soon :-) Inge

We have recently returned from a week long stay at Rhos-on-Sea. I would highly recommend the property and destination to anybody with complete confidence. The long flat promenade is great for cycling, the kids loved it. The house is in a perfect location with only a 1 minute walk to the village. The house is equipped to a high standard, with lovely comfy beds for a good nights sleep after a busy day out and about. Llandudno has everything you could wish for and anglesey only a 1/2 hours drive away.

This is a great house, well decorated, laid out and thought out. Secure garden for dogs, all mod cons. Quiet street, beach very close, could take dogs on beach to left of main beach. Great shower, and the kids loved their rooms. Overall, very satisfied, and would go again.

We stayed in this beautiful holiday home in July 2012. From start to finish the experience was second to none. Inge made booking so easy and the communication was brilliant. The house itself was furnished to a high standard and spotless. A home from home. The location was perfect, 2 mins from the local shops and promenade. All in all we had a wonderful break and will be booking again.

Lovely house, clean, spacious and well equipped, would recommend to anyone who wants to book a holiday in north Wales and rest easy with the knowledge that the house would be perfect.
Having family staying from australia and the South of England at the same time solved the accommodation problem and the children had plenty of room to play, the large dining room was a bonus. Terrific value for money. -

Left on 02/29/2012 for a stay in February 2012
Absolutely fabulous holiday house. Well stocked with everything one could possibly want, and more!! The house was spotlessly clean. Loads of DVD’s and books, not to mention the well stocked toy cupboard! Kids had a great time, and loved the table football! Inge was always available if we needed to ask anything, and more than happy to help! Rhos is a nice little village, not too busy, and the house is a stones throw away from the sea.
The household appliances and fixtures and fittings was all high quality and one can see that a lot of effort and hard work has gone into making this house the high standard that it is. A real compliment for the owners.
We had shortlisted several houses for the half term break that we found using Tripadvisor. We chose this one as we felt we could not go wrong with 28 excellent reviews – we were not disappointed! We highly recommend! -

Shops just around the corner. Beach under 5 mins walk. Nature reserve 10 mins walk away. Great spot to stay that is within easy reach of the delights of north Wales. Can't fault it. Left on 11/07/2011 for a stay in October 2011
The service received from the initial enquiry to booking the holiday and arriving was absolutely fantastic. The house was decorated and well stocked to a very high standard. We went for a weekend, the weather was brilliant and we had a fantastic break. The best thing about the holiday and house was that we could take our puppy Izzy a King Charles with us on her first break! Prior to arriving I did wonder what the facilities would be like being as we could take our Izzy but I need not have worried as the house was spotless and a pleasure to stay in. Thank you so much for a fantastic break.

Spacious well appointed holiday let close to town and beach. Excellent position for touring the area. Beautifully decorated, bed really comfortable and kitchen out of this world. Lots of extras included as standard and dogs stay free and are well catered for. A concern for us was the on street parking but this proved to be no problem at all. Cannot praise this holiday let enough, would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Inge and Peter really have thought about the detail when making this house a true holiday home. We settled in immediately and so did our little dog. The wine/dog chews were a lovely surprise and much appreciated.

This holiday home is absolutely perfect for a relaxing stay in North Wales. The house is immaculately decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need even down to a bucket and spade and fishing net in the shed which my daughter was delighted with. We took our two dogs who enjoyed their stay and thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the sea which is a short stroll away. Rhos itself is a lovely village - plenty of shops, cafes and takeaways, not in the slightest bit run down which has unfortunately affected a lot of seaside towns over recent years. Llandudno is 5 miles away and was an excellent day out. We didn't get time to try the Welsh Mountain Zoo or visit Conwy Castle but we have certainly earmarked those for our next visit which we have already booked for next year!

Left on 07/13/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Believe it or not, when I viewed the photos on the website initially and got a confirmation of the price, my reaction was 'what's wrong with this place?. It's too good to be true!' However, opening that front door for the first time and walking in, I have to say the photos do not do the house justice! It is truly beautiful, clean and very, very spacious. I have rented places over the years and have been disappointed in some way with each one. Not this one. Oh no. The fact that I could take my dog too was a bonus and the garden area was very dog friendly. My mother came with us and she was absolutely delighted with the property - it met her very stringent standards of cleanliness! Although the house is very modern and beautifully decorated, it does not make you feel uncomfortable and frightened of walking around in it. It is done is such a homely manner that you feel at ease in it straight away and it became an excellent base to 'chill out' after walking for hours sightseeing. Very central to the shops and the local park just round the corner made it a perfect getaway for us all. Best holiday we've ever had. I have even booked for us all to go there next year which is something I've never done before!!

Having just returned from our 3rd stay this year at this holiday home, we are already counting the days to our next stay.
This house is absolutely everything you would want from a holiday home.
Its lovely and clean, modern and very spacious and a great base to explore Wales.
Located in a lovely seaside town, just a couple of streets off the seafront, there is a great selection of cafes, rstaurants and nik nak shops at hand.
What is exceptionally good about the property is that dogs are welcomed and our dogs love the place.
There is a paved garden to the front of the property and a split patio / garden to the rear, and there is aso garden furniture provided.
The visitors book within the property only reflects the great times that people have experienced when staying there and its a real testiment to the owners.
Counting the days till our next trip which will be June!!

And that was the feeling we all had as the house is very lovely decorated.
And beside all of this the location is perfect. The sea is at the end of the street. And only a 10 to 20 minutes ride you find Conwy Castle, Bodnant Garden and beautiful areas for walking.
Unfortunately we had to leave at the end of the stay, but I could assure my kids that we would come back!

This house is in a great location, offering opportunities to explore inland (mountains, waterfalls, parks, castles) and the coast, as well as to investigate a few interesting independent shops almost on the doorstep. Though rather chilly and drizzly in February, we still enjoyed discovering the footpaths and caves on Great Orme and look forward to a picnic at the top with fabulous views in better weather. If you're interested in ski-ing, it even has a dry ski slope.
Rhos on Sea has a wide variety of cafes and take aways if you can't be bothered to cook, but the kitchen is so well equipped that cooking is no problem. The house is comfortable and much more spacious than you might expect from the outside. Beds are comfortable, the bathroom better than home, and availability of wifi was very useful, as well as being an important factor in luring a teenager to the coast in February!
We received flexible and friendly service, and look forward to a return visit.
