This is a tastefully renovated spacious apartment. Its in the cellar of a secure building on a nice street in the new city,there is an abundance of good cafe/bars & restaurants in the area & your only around a ten minute walk from old Riga. Perfect apartment for a small group 2/3 friends or a couple.. The owners are also very nice people...

Perfect location to most anything important. Quiet. Lots of style. Musty during our stay but humidifier helped as raining a lot, then hot and muggy outside. (It is a basement, afterall) Big space, 2 windows plus door. Owner most helpful.

Our hosts were really helpful to make our stay memorable.They were helpful before our visit by sending us information to help us make plans. The apartment was tastefully furnished and we appreciated the creative mix of modern comforts without destroying the historic nature of the building. We walked in to Old Riga easily and enjoyed the local restaurants and cafes. During our stay the sauna was not working but in summer this really didn't matter. There were many unique features, guest slippers, old photos, fresh juice press. We would have loved to have seen photos of the conversion of this basement area.
No hesitation in recommending RigaPlace. -

Just had a great stay at RigaPlace apartment. The apartment is around a 15 minute walk from the old town and near a good supermarket, Maxima, for supplies. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean, always warm (which is important in snowy February) and a really unique place making our holiday memorable - much better than any hotel and cheaper too! Janis was really welcoming and Vita made sure we had everything we needed.
Riga itself is also a great place for a short break. I would highly recommend the ethnographic museum near Jugla which was absolutely stunning in the snow. -

We recently stayed at RigaPlace apartment for a week-long city break. It was a great base from which to explore and very conveniently located - we didn't mind the short walk into the Old Town - with good shopping and restaurants around the corner.
Taxi from the airport was 10 lvs, Vita text us when we landed to confirm the time we would receive keys, easy check-in and her husband showed us everything we would need. Facilities allowed us to cook, excellent Wifi connection, nothing out of place in this cozy apartment. -

We really enjoyed our stay at Riga Place. The apartment is very close to the centre of Riga and in a nice area. It's very cosy and nicely designed with a powerful shower and lots of space. Plus a great Internet connection :) We have just booked our 2nd stay.

Definately recommended!!!First of all first time in my life in the holiday apartment I felt like being at home!Great place, very personal touch to it and everything is there for you even games, dictionaries, umbrellas and slippers it was unbelievable!:)
In walking distance from Old Town and shopping area as well as many nice restaurants and bars are around! If you can`t be bothered walking taxi costs Ls2,00. Grocery store is not far away so you can make yourself your own breakfast in your own time because everything is there for you to do that!

I found the apartment very comfortable, I felt at home. I was in Riga on business and found it's location exceptional. Just a few minutes walk from the central station, lot's of shops and place to eat. It worked out great.
