The ideal apartment if you are coming by car, as it includes parking. GERTRUDES RIGA is in the Centre district of Riga. It is the ideal location for a holiday in the city. You've got everything: relatively close to center and away from the noise. Do you need Internet on holidays too? Don't worry because the apartment offers wifi included in the rental price.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed for three nights in the apart-hotel Riga apartment.
Arranging the stay was reasonably staightforward, emailing the owner of the apartment (indirectly) through Flipkey by Tripadvisor. One point I would suggest is to ask if you can pay directly by international bank transfer (depending on what your bank charges for international transfers) rather than the Flipkey payment which charges an extra us$14 for a secure payment.
The receptionist was lovely, she spoke English and 'checking-in' was strightforward. It was reassuring knowing that there was someone on reception 24hours/day even in this apartment style accomodation.
As a couple, we found the apartment was a great size for two. It was clean and tidy on arrival, and central heating kept it a very comfortable temperature. We also liked the full sized kitchen for cooking our own meals, including a seperate dining area and lounge area. The TV had a great range of channels (in English as well as Latvian, German, Russian, etc) however we did experience some issues with reception, probably due to the heavy snow causing atmospheric interference.
The receptionist returned our security deposit upon handing the keys back, so there was no issue there.
The apartment felt safe and we enjoyed staying here for our three nights in Latvia. Would recommend this to friends.
