  2-3 BR Penthouse Condo - Better than a hotel room!

  I hope I can say enough good things about this place and its owner. First, Heriberto is a very good business man, and when I had a problem with paypal which was my fault, he took time out of his busy schedule to assist us. Whenever we had any questions or issues, he was friendly and helpful. He has several other apartments on the island and knows how to maintain them and keep his guests happy.
  
  There is an elevator so you don't have to walk up any stairs to get to the fourth floor. It worked all 12 days we were there, no problems at all.
  
  This is better than any resort or hotel you might find because for the same price you get lots of living space, two full bedrooms with an optional third bedroom, two and a half baths, kitchen, living room, family room, a desktop computer with high speed internet (and wifi if you have laptops or tablets), penthouse rooftop deck and balconies and much more.
  
  The first floor has two bedrooms which are much roomier than they appear in the photos. There is a kitchen, with pots, pans, and a fridge that works very well to keep all food items cold. I made eggs and other quick things, but we mostly ate at the restaurants. If you wanted to keep your costs low here, you could cook all your meals quite easily. The living room is comfortable and spacious, but it is the balcony with the fantastic view of the beach and ocean that really makes this place so wonderful.
  
  Here is the best part, the bed are very comfortable. There are bunkbeds in the second bedroom with a full bed on bottom and a twin on top. Perfect for another couple or the kids.
  
  There is a portable play pen for the baby, there are tubes for the pool for kids, beach chairs, buckets and beach toys, plenty of beach towels, everything you would think of that you might need.
  
  It is decorated very nicely with pretty artwork and painted walls.
  
  There is a spiral staircase with a locking gate in front, in case you have small children you don't want running up and down. Once you get used to the spiral staircase, it is easy to navigate, and fun. This takes you to the roof top floor which is wonderful for entertaining, there is a nice bar set up, a bbq grill and another gorgeous ocean view balcony. You can take the sun in privacy up here during the morning hours...
  
  There are large flat screen Tv's in the master bedroom and living room and upstairs top floor lounge family room with many channels.
  
  The master bathroom is a full bath and there is a second full bath in the hallway. Upstairs is another half bath with sink and toilet for convenience. There are tables and chairs for dining up there as well.
  
  Behind the kitchen is a stacked washer dryer which is a life saver with all the beach towels and bath towels and clothing you might want to wash.
  
  The pool is private and very well landscaped and clean. There is a cabana with bathrooms and outside showers to wash off the sand. It's the best of both worlds, resort-style living with all the conveniences of home.
  
  Tips for a better stay: Make sure you learn all the keys and what they are for, the building is gated and you must have the key code to enter and/or keys. There is also the remote to open the gate, look for that in the drawer so you can enter easily with you car. We didn't realize until a few days later.
  
  Tiles can be slippery when wet, so be sure you have bath mat or towel down and be careful with any water on the floor, but just know, I have been to other properties in the area and many of the places have these tiles so it is common all over Puerto Rico no matter where you stay.
  
  This condo is located right across from the public beach and it is wonderful with bathrooms and showers there, the ocean here is calm with little waves perfect for children. There is a little bar and eatery in the public beach it can get festive on the weekends with karaoke and music, go down there and have some fun... but it is quiet during the week. We loved it, the perfect mix of liveliness and peacefulness.
  
  It's close to all the surfing beaches too so if you surf, you will love it, and even if you don't you can go down and watch all the surfers. We loved that part.
  
  My opinion is this: why go to a hotel where you get one room, one bath and very little amenities, when for about the same price you can get a full two floors of space and privacy? You can always visit the resorts for dinner or a drink and sit by their pools or meet people.. and then come home to a beautiful roomy condo.
  
  We will rent from Heriberto again if we can, and very soon!
