Casa Lorraine Beach House is located beachfront at Sandy Beach in beautiful Rincon, Puerto Rico. This rustic, get away from it all family vacation rental has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 people. Enjoy direct beach access from your own private gate, a beautiful landscaped yard with loungers, bbq and picnic table
Inside is a screened porch, full kitchen and comfortable living area. No air conditioning, but ceiling fans and cool sea breezes with windows throughout.

Casa Lorraine Beach House is located on Sandy Beach, a surfing beach with sandy bottom and later in the year, calmer waters. This is the heart of Rincon's beach community, one of the few Rincon Beaches large enough for plenty of sunning and surfing.
There are numerous bars and restaurants, including Casa Islena Tapas Bar and Pool Bar Sushi, within walking distance as well as shopping and beach rentals at Mango Beach Shop.

To reinforce what the pictures show, this house is very much on the beach. If you're ambitious, you can go from the bed into the ocean in less than a minute.
The house itself was clean, has a back porch that was lovely during the evenings and grill that was great for cooking the fresh fish we purchased from a nearby beach (just be sure to buy charcoal and lighter fluid).
We flew into San Juan and it took just under 2 hours to arrive at the house. It's easy to find and located on a stretch of beach that has a few other residences and two bars. The drive into town is simple and only takes 10-15 minutes.
Jim was very each to reach both before and throughout our stay.
If you're looking for a true vacation at the beach, this house is great. -

This is a perfectly situated, well maintained and charming property in a desirable section of Rincon. Right on the beach, large fenced yard, close to restaurants and bars. Doesn't get any better than this...

Right on Sandy Beach, location couldn't be better. Depending on the conditions, great beginner surf waves and higher performance waves toward the point and at Pools. Just a few minutes drive over to Marias, Domes, Tres, etc., for more great surf. Lots of great restaurants within short walking distance. The home is great and simple, well designed for relaxing and hanging out. Big beautiful yard, lots of space compared to some of the places squeezed into the hills above. James (property manager) and Lori (owner) were very gracious and ensured we had a great visit. We would happily stay here again.

we were late in planning our first time trip to PR yet wanted a place to settle in for a week with good access to fun, sun, surf. Casa Lorraine fit the bill nicely in many ways. On the beach, a beauty with surf and a few nearby places to walk to for eats and drinks, live music too. The beach also extends for miles on either side for those that enjoy a walk on the beach. The property was simply - well appointed with nice spaces: screened porch, 2 bedrooms, eat in kitchen with table for 4-5 and a comfy futon my daughter enjoyed being lulled to sleep nightly by the waves, outdoor shower too (ya ya). we spent the week in this Sandy Beach Rincon area and rarely put shoes or socks on - now that's a vacation. Rincon is hip, chill, very friendly and worth the drive from San Juan.

My friends and I stayed here for a week and just did not want to leave! Location was a major consideration for us and this house is perfectly situated right on the beach. You literally walk out your backyard and straight onto the sand, where you have your pick of surf breaks in either direction. My favorite was the left at Sandy Beach! Domes, Maria's, Tres Palmas, etc. are just a few minutes' drive away. If you're not a surfer, the beach in front of the house is full of seaglass and seashells for collecting!
Within walking distance are Tamboo, Casa Islena, Pools Sushi, Mango Beach Shop, and Red Door Boutique. If you're motivated you could walk to many other places as well, but the area is quite hilly behind the house and having a car is worth it. We were able to park two cars on the property and lock up the gate every night. After sunset, the yard came alive with the sounds of coquis. We loved it!
The house itself is adorable - a wooden beach bungalow with a huge grassy yard. My favorite features were the outdoor shower and the screened-in sun room (the perfect place to have breakfast every day!). We did have a little bit of an ant problem in the kitchen when we left food out, but I imagine that's a common occurrence in Rincon. So, we just made a habit of putting everything in the fridge, including bread and chips, and tossing fruit peels in the trash can outside.
The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of hot water and towels. I did miss having wifi, but at the same time it was nice to really get away from it all! (And there's free wifi at Tamboo.)
I ended up driving past a lot of the other rental properties that I had found online, and Casa Lorraine was without a doubt the best option! "One block from the beach" doesn't sound like a big deal when you're renting a home in paradise, but in Rincon, beachfront is a must. I'm so glad we chose this house!
Jim and the owner, Lori, were both very easy and pleasant to deal with. We hope to be back!
