The Seashell Mansion is a gorgeous architecturally designed beachfront house. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and one half bath and can accommodate up to 6 people. The house features a double height beach front living room with huge windows facing the ocean, a chefs style kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite worktops and breakfast bar, and a formal dining room with seating for 8 people. The first floor also features a private internal garden for private dining and relaxing. Boston, MassachusettsProbably the best villa in Rincon

It's very difficult to find words to describe how much we liked our stay at The Seashell Mansion. The villa itself is exceptional: very spacious (and there were 6 of us with a baby!), beautifully decorated and with lots of natural light (we particularly liked the panoramic ocean-view window on the second floor). Actually, we discovered that the villa had a much better view than the majority of restaurants in the area, so we just ended up ordering food or cooking ourselves. There's a supermarket in about 5 minutes away, and we had everything for a barbecue at the mansion.
Joane, the property manager, helped us find a maid who cleaned the house when needed, but for the price paid it would have been nice to have the service included.
The beach is just steps away from the villa, and it's great - apparently there's a guy who rakes it almost daily, so it's pretty clean. The ocean is quiet in that part of Rincon, and we really enjoyed swimming and snorkeling. However, you should enter the water very carefully, as there's a small coral reef right opposite the villa.
As for the entertainment, there's a book at the counter which tells you all you need to know about things to do in Puerto Rico and Rincon specifically (including numbers, websites, etc), also the owner sent us a lot of useful tips via email well before our check-in.
