Description from the owner

A 3 bedroom home on Corcega Beach in Rincon. Beautiful calm water at your doorstep, and world class surf just a couple of miles away. This 2800 sq. ft. house has a fully equipped kitchen with dining room and living room. Each bedroom has its own private bath, air conditioning and private balcony. WIFI throughout house and patio. Cable TV. The beautiful stone patio sits right on the beach. Plenty of chaise lounge chairs for the beach to watch the best sunsets in the caribbean. Great swimming and snorkeling right in front of the house. Be careful of renting to the north as the storms have washed away the beach and the sand is gone.

Location, location, location & more, much more!

Left on 01/20/2013 for a stay in January 2013

We just spent 8 wonderful days at Pelican Pass, Villa I, with 2 of our adult children and their partners. It was wonderful! Pics don't do it justice - the beach is right outside the patio gate. Great privacy with 3 bedrooms each with their own bath, and great shared space with a large eating area and table for shared meals, games, etc. Nice outdoor table too - and plenty of patio seating/reclining. Kitchen has full sized fridge, and small fridge for beverages. Plenty of linens, towels, dishes, and washer/dryer. We cooked almost every meal in, and enjoyed sunsets, and just watching and playing in the waves. Loved listening to the surf at night, walking on the beach under the stars, walking on the beach in the sun! Wonderful space, well-furnished and cared for. Thank you for sharing your wonderful piece of heaven on earth.

      A Dream Beach House

Left on 01/02/2012 for a stay in December 2011

This was our 2nd time staying at Pelican Pass and our 10th trip to Puerto Rico. There is not a more relaxed, 5 star beach front home than this. That we returned for another stay within 11 months speaks volumes about our love for this place. Ocean breezes and a personal chef, Anna, made slipping into our first morning exquisite. Three bedrooms upstairs, each with private bath and two with private balconies via french doors, overlooking the water. This is a special place where memories of a life time will be made. Thank you Bud & Kathy for sharing you piece of paradise with us. We'll be back very soon!
      Steve, Tony & extended family.

      Excellent accommodations

Left on 03/21/2011 for a stay in February 2011

It has been 1.5 months since our stay, but the memories are still fresh and wonderful. We loved sitting on the patio and watching the pelicans. We had a great time frolicking in the ocean, and I tend to afraid of the waves. Pelican Pass had everything you could want. It is also close to restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend Pelican Pass.

      More Than Expected!!

Left on 02/24/2011 for a stay in February 2011

First of all I have never written a review, but feel one is appropriate here. As we left town I was worried that our need for a vacation would create expectations of our destination that would be impossible to meet. We had nothing to worry about! The house is larger than expected. All bedrooms are comfortable. The rest of the layout including the patio area is outstanding and welcoming. The beach is truly steps away and we sat there daily taking in the ritual of watching the sunset. Stores and a variety of restaurants are close by. Very easy and uncomplicated.

      Could Not Have Been Happier

Left on 02/01/2011 for a stay in January 2011

I stayed at Pelican Pass with my wife, two-year-old son and in-laws for a week. We could not have been happier. The house is even larger than it looks in the pictures, the patio is amazing and the location absolutely cannot be beat.

Wonderful villa, wonderful beach, wonderful holiday!

Left on 01/09/2011 for a stay in December 2010

We just returned from Rincon last weekend so our memories are wonderfully fresh. The house is great. It is just as shown in the online photos, is in a very nice neighborhood (the house is gated on both sides but all seemed to be very safe and quiet when we were there) and has the best location on the beach. The bedrooms are upstairs and we were able to sleep comfortably every night with the French doors open (there are a/C units in the bedrooms) with the waves as our background noise. The kitchen is great and we grilled out two nights for dinner and had the added bonus of the back of the house facing West so we were able to enjoy the sunset while hanging out. The outside patio/terrace is wonderful and there are plenty of beach chairs, tables, etc.
We did not have to call them but there are also local caretakers who we happened to meet and I liked the idea of having someone close by if we needed something.

Other than the first two days when there was a high surf advisory on the west coast of Puerto Rico, we were able to walk out of our back door and swim or hang out in the water on the "boogie boards” that are in a small storage area on the side of the house.

It was definitely one of the nicest rental homes that we have stayed in and we hope to return. Kathy Smallwood was very helpful with directions, town info. etc. We did have some issues with flying out of Va. because of the snowstorm over the holidays and Kathy checked in with us to see how we were doing. Nice touch!
