Imagine yourself, on a Caribbean beach, the turquoise ocean flat like glass. Your kids playing in the swimming pool, your legs propped up watching the pelicans fly by, the smell of bar-b-que drifting through the air in the privacy of this home you've chosen for your tropical beach vacation.

Villa Orleans is a beach front home on the western side of Puerto Rico, in a small lazy surfing town called Rincon. It's not luxury. It's laid back and cozy.

Wake up to the sounds of ocean and sand. The ocean pinches the beach at either extreme of the property, so few folks wander by. There is a kilometer of beach front in front of villa pr...operty. If you like privacy. If you avoid crowds, this is the place.

During the day, soak sun on our sun terrace, with the ocean as your audience, only an airplane can spot you.

At night, take a dip in the ocean or the pool.

This beachfront home has all the amenities you need, for a home away from home. Its 5 bedrooms open up to balconies overlooking the peaceful Caribbean Beach. It's 6th bedroom is surrounded by tropical jungle and is set farther from the other rooms.

Weddings? This villa is perfect for your small beach wedding. No additional charge for wedding parties under 25 when you take the whole villa for 5 nights.

Yoga retreats? A 20 x 20 ft yoga deck paces from the beach can easily accommodate 16 persons. We can help prepare breakfasts, and can suggest several chefs that can bring by food, or prepare it in the villa.

Additional Location Information

Rincon is a beach town located on the western side of Puerto Rico. Rincon is known for its surfing and sandy beaches. You can snorkel off the shoreline, dive at Desecheo Island 14 miles away, take surfing lessons, go sailing, fishing, kayaking, or just beach combing.
There are a number of great beach restaurants and beach bars where you can watch the sunset have drinks or dinner.

  We stayed at Villa Orleans for a big family reunion-- six adults and four children aged 7 and under. Luis is a wonderful host-- helpful and available but never intrusive-- a truly nice person. The house is right on top of the water-- amazing views, great covered porches and decks. We spent every sunset on a different porch and ate every meal outside at the picnic table on the covered porch. We ate out once or twice, but the most relaxing thing to do was put the kids to bed (or to watch a video) while the adults ate a home-cooked meal. A highlight of eating out was breakfast at the Red Rose Inn.
  
  The grounds are really beautiful-- Luis has worked hard to create landscaping and shade that looks right with the setting. There are two other small apartments/houses on the property and the pool, etc. is shared by all. During our stay there were others guests, and we all got along really nicely.
  
  The house is fully stocked with TV, DVD player, and kids movies if you need a little "electronic sitter" once in a while, but our kids spent most of the time in the little pool. The pool is small and perfect for young children. There is a small beach right in front of the house, perfect for playing with the kids, going for a swim, or reading a book.
  At times, the surf was very high and rough, so we headed out to Tres Hermanos public beach. Lots of other great beaches in the area, but not always suitable for young children depending on the surf.
  
  In summary, we had a great time-- the house is really perfect for a big family stay, especially if you can have more than one car available so everyone can do their own thing. We all highly recommend having a massage therapist (Luis can give you her name) come to the house to give massages on the upper deck.

  Just returned from our stay at Villa Orleans where we stayed in La Casita cottage for 8 nights. My husband, myself, and our 17 year old son thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Luis, the owner, is full of information about the area and is very helpful. He even added a single bed to the cottage for our stay so our son wouldn't have to sleep on the sleeper sofa. The resident dog, Luke, is a wonderful addition. He escorted my husband on his early morning walks to the beach. While the cottage doesn't have a view of the ocean, it is so close it doesn't really matter. The cottage is actually very large. There is a deck on the front, a front room, a very large open kitchen and dining room, a huge bedroom with double closets, and a bathroom with a large tiled shower.
  
  It's all the little touches that lets you know that Luis cares about his guests. We found a huge first aid kit, a variety of books and magazines, a large cooler, and boogie boards that are there for guests to use. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
