I stayed here for the majority of January 2013 (and in another of Rey's properties for Feb) and loved it.
The condo has one quirk but Rey, the location and the building staff more than made up for it.
The quirk? The shower head is super close to the wall and doesn't adjust out, just sort of down, so you have to shower close to the wall. It wasn't a big deal for me, but if you can't get close, you might struggle with it.
Rey was great to work with. He picked me up at the airport (and drove me around on a few other occasions), helped me learn the area and is just an all around great guy. The doormen at this building are also wonderful. They looked out for me, made great suggestions and are just really, really nice.
The condo is located on the west end of El Condado. It can be loud at times as it faces the street (and the lagoon). This wasn't an issue for me but it could be for some. The condo is clean and bright and I enjoyed my time there a great deal. It's on the bus line (3 routes), close to the beaches, great restaurants and markets. It's about a 1.5 mile walk to the big grocery store. It is within walking distance to Old San Juan though that is one of the bus routes that goes by as well. There is a souvenir shop in the bottom of the building handy for a number of items, and the restaurant / bar on the adjacent plaza, Barlovento, is one of my favorite places in the world.

This apartment is in the heart of Condado. Everything is in walking distance, including the beach. Rey, the owner, was extremely attentive to every detail. He met us at the apartment and even had a complimentary bottle of wine for us. The apartment was clean, bright,comfortable, and included wifi. We were also given a private parking spot which was great! We will definitely stay here again!

Rey, the property manager, was very accommodating with our schedule and met us at the apt once we arrived in PR (he even offered to pick us up from the airport!). The apt was clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was safe and always patrolled by policemen in the evening. At night is does get a bit noisy because the condo faces the busy street. The parking for the condo is not on site, but the parking lot 1 block away across the street always had a space available for our rental car. Rey rents parking spaces in that private lot for his guests.
The a/C worked great. The kitchen was clean and stocked with plates, silverware, etc. for people who plan to cook on site. The fridge was clean. Rey provided beach towels and beach chairs for those wanting to walk down the street to go to the beach nearby (2-3 blocks away). There are not many electrical outlets in the condo, but an extension cord is provided if you need one.
Overall a great central location for those wanting to go to the beach and travel to Old San Juan. It only takes 10-15 min to get here from the airport (depending on traffic). I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip to PR and I have family who I could have stayed with for free! ;)Response from Beach City 2010 - 08/07/2012

The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a white building, facing the road. The other side of the building has a great ocean view. The manager provide free parking for guests, also he can provide transportation to airport with a relative low fee. There are several small restaurant on the same street. I've been two of them. The one on the same side as the apartment has a small deck which is very nice to have a lunch, especially their special- mahi mahi sandwich. Delicious!
I recommend this apartment to any couple who wants to enjoy the seaside living and convenient location. -

We enjoyed our stay and had the opportunity to shared with our family. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The pool and the facilities are suitable for a long stay. The Property Manager was very attentive and friendly. This is the place we will continue to stay in our future trips to PR.

Compared to two hotels in the same block, I paid $250/night less and received three times the space, a full equipped kitchen and privacy. The price is excellent! The location is great. You can walk to restaurants, beaches, Convention Center, pharmacies/convenience store, pubs and Old San Juan. Next year I will look for this place.
