Duplex Penthouse located on the 8th floor on the Ipanema Palace, high above the leafy Rua Prudente de Morais, the building offers reception and 24 hour security, swimming pool, sauna and coffee shop.
This 3 bedroom apartment is very quiet, bright, has great views and is perfectly located. You will be just 1 block from Ipanema beach and half block from the famous Rua Farme de Amoedo. It has a nice terrace with small pool where you can enjoy the view of the Christ Redeemer - Corcovado, and in lateral the sea.

Firstly, this apartment is beautiful. Modern, light, well decorated. It is also very expensive (5 nights here cost us about the same as we spent in another 3 weeks in quality accommodation around South america). For the price paid, service and facilities are not as great as they should be.
Our travelling party included a 3 year old. This 8th floor penthouse apartment had 3 separate doors to balconies which either had no locks, or broken locks. This caused us some anxieties. When pointed out to Rio Exclusive, no concern was shown, and no attempt made to correct the problem. By contrast, the myriad of plumbing problems experienced during our stay (non flushing toilets, lack of water etc) were always fixed promptly.
If you have money to burn, and want to stay in a top notch quality apartment, then this place is for you. It is not perfect though.

Absolutely amazing apartment in a great location! Our experience with Rio Exclusive has been superb. We don't have a single complaint!!
