The stunning view of Dos Irmaos may be enjoyed from the dipping pool on the roof terrace and private bed room balconies or alternatively from the roof top solarium which has 360 degree views across the city including the striking Dos Irmaos mountain peaks and the sea at sunset. Designed by the renowned Francois-avier Dussol with finishing to a high standard including marble ensuite bathrooms and custom furniture. Truly a unique offering.

StartBazil folks were great. Questions answered, payment processed (use PayPal), car met us at airport, everything as advertised. Agency rep Netto met us at the flat, offered advice and directions as needed. He showed on the minute agreed to return security deposit. It's tri-level on the 9th floor and includes a rooftop terrace/sundeck + 2nd floor terrace with dipping pool and table/chairs. It is a lovely place to relax and unwind. Fantastic view, very soothing appointments inside. The kitchen fed four for 10 days comfortably. Includes a washing machine. Small gym in the building. Lots of windows for cross ventilation. Bedrooms on the 1st floor. A/Cs there helped sticky nights. Building is in a very safe, quiet 'hood. Grocer close; beaches close; shopping close; taxis ubiquitous. The flat needs a bit of maintenance, a few minor repairs and a good scrub, but the owner has agreed to do these. Overall we loved the place and considered staying for good! Our first trip to Rio was very much enjoyed.

As often as possible when I travel I stay in apartments or houses.
I love having a kitchen and living room. Generally having a home,
depite being away. This apartment was one of my alltime favorites.
I expected a fashionable, well-located, oasis and that is exactly
what I got. Everything was first-class and when I brought my business associates over for brunch, they loved the place as much as we did!
Don't hesitate, you'll love this place. -

There are few places in Rio that offer such a great location. Just a short walk from both beaches and located near shops, restaurants and bars. The apartment itself is impeccably designed with spacious rooms, bathrooms, an open living area and an amazing outdoor space. The house services were efficient and helpful. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone and hope to go back there soon.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The penthouse is perfectly designed for a week holiday in Rio. Stunning views including sunset over Ipanema beach and the mountains in the back, great outdoor terrace with plunge pool and sun deck on the 3rd floor. The bedroom suites are also charming, including generously laid out marble bathrooms. We loved it and will return for sure!

As a woman, security is very important for me in a foreign country. In this regard, the 24 hour concierge certainly provided peace of mind. I also like the fact that the building has its own in house restaurant and decent sized pool if you feel too lazy (or hungover in my case) to leave the building. Also was handy to have off street parking for our hire car.
The apartment itself is comfortable with aircon in all rooms and large bedrooms/bathrooms. Views are absolutely stunning at sunset to the extent that we made a point of trying to get back to watch it from the apartment each evening.
The seating in the lounge area could be a little bigger but we only used it briefly when it rained but overall amazing value for money when compared with the hotels in the area. Start Brazil were very professional in handling our booking. -

The apartment has an amazing location, at the point between Ipanema and Copacabana beach although we often found ourselves preferring to escape the chaos of the beach to the relative peace of the plunge pool or the sun lounges on the roof.
The kitchen wasn't really suitable for cooking meals for large groups but then again I think we only ate in once when it was raining!
Check in staff were very friendly and informative.

had no problems with this apartment at all. everything was just as described. one of my friends lost the key, but we called their helpdesk and everything was solved quickly. they also arranged for us to be picked up from the airport when we arrived. i'll probably come here again soon!

The penthouse was amazing. 2 big bedrooms (with each a bathroom), nice living and great private pool. Amazing Sundeck on the third floor with great views.
Service and Cleaning were as agreed!
We definitively will come back.

Lovely spacious 2 bedroom appartment, as descibed on website, clean, felt very secure with 24 hour concierge. Wifi and air conditioning worked fine. Staff met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome, and all booking enquiries were promptly dealt with promptly and efficiently. Security deposit returned in full without problem. View from rooftop pool stunning. Kitchen facilities adequate for breakfast and snacks. Close to Ipenema beach, banks, restaurants. Liked it so much that for our return stay in Rio after touring Brazil, we cancelled the hotel booking and stayed here again. Definitely reccomended.
