A super luxurious 1 bedroom apartment on the (topfloor) 12th floor with a double size bed, airconditioning (1 in living room and 1 in bedroom), cable tv, wifi internet and a small veranda.
It is located in Posto 2 in Copacabana.
Close to the apartment are supermarkets, bars, restaurants, night life and the metro.
And of course the famous Avenida Atlantico it within 2 minutes walking distance. Ipanema is about 20 minutes walking and Leme is only 1 minute away!
So, a very central located apartment!

The following are the prices for x nights. These are all inclusive rental prices (rent, electricity, end of rent cleaning & laundry and booking). Extra are payments costs, which are determined by the way you pay the reservation- and final part of the rent.
3 nights is USD 405

For prices for 8 nights and more, please do ask us, so we can make you a special offer for that period.
The prices have been based upon a maximum of 2 persons. For each person more than 2, we will add USD 10 per night.
For Carnival, New Year, World Cup 2014, the Olympics 2016 and any special events in Rio (like Confederations Cup, Pope�s visit, Rock in Rio, etc.) prices will be different and no rights can be deferred from above prices.
For check in, only when the apartment is not rented the night before, you can enter directly. Otherwise you need to wait till 11.30 to enter and the maids still need a minimum of 2 hours to clean the apartment to make it ready for you. Standard check out is at 11.00 hours. You can stay till 18.00 hours, but you need to pay half a night more, which is USD 55 in this case and must be ordered at reservation. We cannot store your luggage and the building does not accept it also.
We offer the following extra services, which must be ordered at reservation but paid locally :
1. One extra cleaning (maximum 4 hours) is BRL 70
2. One set of fresh bedlinen and towels is BRL 50
3. One extra cleaning with change of bedlinen and towels (maximum 4 hours) is BRL 100
4. An airport pickup (arrival after 07.00 and before 23.00 hours at apartment) is BRL 110 for 4 persons maximum with a normal set of luggage
5. An airport pickup (arrival before 07.00 and after 23.00 hours at apartment) is BRL 150 (check in by driver) for 4 person maximum with a normal set of luggage
You will have a personal check in and out by one of our staff members, a helpdesk reachable 16 hours per day and 7 days per week, and a well maintained apartment.

The unit is new in a very old building. It does have nice wifi that's relatively fast. Tv has some channels to watch, but most are not in English.
The place is very narrow but doable for a short term rental. The washer machine is not a washer/dryer combo, so you have to hang clothes to dry. There is a laundry mat downstairs, though. The bedroom is very tiny, and we kept on kicking the bed frame.
There is a security guard but he really didn't do much to check visitors.
This place is on top of a strip club, but surprisingly we didn't hear any noise from it. However, the street noise is very loud.
The worst part is probably the window aC in the room. Because of its location, you can't close the curtain completely. That means if you can't sleep with light, you probably won't sleep much at all. It also gets warm in the room from the sun.
The area is decent, but Ipanema is much better in terms of things to see and do. Over all it's not a bad place but it could be better.Response from STARTBRAZIL - 04/06/2013

This review was for another apartment and not the apartment which is shown on Flipkey/Tripadvisor (you can check that with the location (there is no stripclub near this apartment), there is no washingmachine, and there are Split aircos in every room (so no window ac)). The apartment now shown is a penthouse (topfloor) and also spacious and no noise at all as it is in the back of the building and not on a busy street.
