Located at the back of the building, away from the noise from the traffic and street, and directly facing Ipanema beach, this quiet property benefits from incredible sea views and sea breeze, go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean.

4 very generously sized double bedrooms, each equipped brand... new air conditioning units, and with plenty of wardrobe space as well as top of the range SERTA double beds, (the same beds found in the majority of 5* hotels worldwide).

This is a very clean, bright and airy property, that features lots of interesting and funky art, as well as very fast 10MB Broadband WIFI internet throughout the apartment.

An oversize lounge/living room can be found on both floors of this duplex apartment. The downstairs lounge features a dining area and TV area with a top of the range Samsung 55" LED High Definition TV and full cable package, (HBO, movies etc), whereas the upstairs lounge opens up on to a veranda, and is more of a "chill out area," with very comfortable leather seating, perfect for socializing with friends and family or relaxing with a caipirinha while reading a book. Both lounges afford incredible frontal views of Ipanema beach.

The Ipanema / Ipanema Beach area

The best beach, restaurants, (Porcão, Garota de Ipanema, Capricciosa to name but a few), clubs, ( Baronetti, Crystal, Dama de Ferro etc), bars, ( Shenanigans, Conversa Fiada, Irish Pub, Blue Agave, Emporio etc), and shopping in Rio, are all within easy walking distance of the property.

Ipanema is a great neighbourhood just to stroll around in. Take a walk up to lagoa and make use of the tennis or basket ball courts, or you could also have a run or rent a bike and ride along the specially separated lanes running the length of Ipanema beach.

A good way to start your day is with a coffee or a fresh juice at one of the many "suco", (juice), bars en route to one of the world's most well known and fashionable pieces of sand - posto 10 Ipanema. Top up your tan alongside the sun-kissed, easygoing and friendly "Cariocas", (Rios inhabitants), maybe order an ice cold caipirinha, beer or coconut from your "barraca", (beach bar providing everything from sun umbrellas, deck chairs, drinks and food), while taking in the awe inspiring landscape that is Ipanema.

For lunch or dinner the restaurant options are virtually limitless in Ipanema, but for the best "Picanha", (Brazilian rump steak), Garota de Ipanema or Porcão come highly recommended.

A spot of shopping? The hippie market on Praça General Osório on a Sunday is excellent for nick -naks or souvenirs, whereas if you are looking for that perfect Brazilian bikini or "sunga", (Brazilian swimming trunks), one of the many Ipanema clothes shops located mainly on "Visconde de Piraja", (the main high street in Ipanema), will surely have what you are after.

Nightlife? To start the night off why not try one of the many "botecos", (beer bars), for more of a Local Brazilian feel, or some well-known tourist meeting spots are Shenanigans, Irish Pub and Emporio to name a few.
A few Caipirinhas or Caipivodkas later, maybe head down to the über fashionable Baronetti or Crystal clubs or one of the slightly more underground venues such as Dama de ferro or Nuth.

For a less hectic evening, various options such as theatre or cinema etc are all available close by.
