From the apartment look out over its own private 750 square foot deck across the Harbor to Sir Francis Drake's Channel to Salt Island & Peter Island. The Allamanda apartment at Tobacco Wharf is situated between The Moorings Marina (to the East) & Village Cay Marina (to the West). A five minute walk takes you to the centre Road Town where you can find restaurants, shopping & the capital's banking centre. The central location of the Allamanda apartment has enormous benefits to most visitors to the BVI. You will probably want to visit other islands as Tortola is surrounded by other sister Islands. From the apartment you can walk to the ferry docks for Virgin Gorda, Peter Island and St. Thomas in USVI. You may also want to go sailing, snorkeling or scuba diving and several Day Sail yachts and Dive companies operate from Road Town. You can easily rent a car for a few days & explore Tortola's magnificent beaches. From Road Town there isn't a beach more than 25 minutes away - from East End's Long Bay to West End's Smugglers Cove or up and over the hill to Cane Garden Bay, less than 15 minutes away.

We have stayed in this apartment several times over the last 10 years, sometimes just my husband and I and also with friends and family. It has all the facilities needed to make for a carefree holiday and is situated in a central position to enjoy the beaches and neighbouring islands. There can be nothing better than to sit on the private dock in the warmth of the evening looking out to sea. There is a wealth of wildlife to enjoy and Lisa is very helpful, giving good advice to make your holiday a great experience. We will be renting the apartment again soon.
