Superb house with an excellent location on the beach inside a gated community. Wonderful beach and canopy views! There's nothing better than sipping a margarita while watching the sunset from the balcony. Absolutely spectacular! The house is well maintained and spotless with excellent facilities. The appliances are practically brand new. There is a beautiful blue lagoon with a wonderful Bar/Grill just a short walk down the beach. You must try a Monkey LaLa while you're there, and keep any eye out for their karaoke night (a favorite with locals and tourists alike). If you feel like exploring more of the island, there are plenty of activities and restaurants a short distance away. Overall it's a fun and relaxing place where you can be as active or sedentary as you like.

My Husband and I along with our three son (12, 20 & 22) truly enjoyed our stay last month. The House is within a impressive gated resort community with 24 hour security on a private street right on the ocean. Trust me the views as you it on either the upper or lower patios can't be beat. Great location to watch the sunrise. The is private but within about 2 city blocks of the resort condo rental community and all its amenities including a wave free lagoon perfect for swimming / snorkeling, water toy rental shop, plenty of chairs/beds for use by the lagoon, a great outdoor bar/restaurant (we ate/drank there three times and all were good. There is also a wonderful pool with multi levels, slide, waterfall and again plenty of chairs/beds for enjoying the sun. The common area also had a dock and break wall which was great for calm water fishing.
The house is very comfortable and has everything you could be looking for on vacation. There was plenty of seating, wonderful beds/bedding and bath linens, well appointed kitchen and dining area, attached garage that housed the washer & dryer (a plus) and just about anything else you might need. Jami the on island property manager was a great asset both in planning our trip and while we were there.
Outside the there is a private yard / beach. Snorkeling from the beach great but the waves when we were there coming off rainy season could be harsh. It also the side of the island that picks up the mainland floating waste so although our beach was clean if you want to do beach walking take a short ride to the other side of the island.
I highly recommend a car and use Thrify they were great! Driving was easy as there is mainly on road just take it slow. I would avoid Dollar rental as although I had a reservation I couldn't get them on the phone and nobody was at the airport when we arrived. Shopping on the island is a breeze with good full sized stores. Try the seafood market too lobster / shrimp were great. -

Turn key and never a bother. Great location, great managers and everything works. You can not do any better than Parrot Tree.

The house was clean, accommodating, and furnished very well. Worked wonderfully for our vacation- with a full kitchen, plenty of bathrooms & bedrooms, not to mention the oceanfront view. The owners had also put together a book detailing all sorts of things to do while in Roatan. And if you want to stay in Parrot Tree, there was plenty to do-snorkeling, kayaking, nature trails, restaurants, beautiful pool, lagoon, etc. all within walking distance of the house. Overall this was one of our best vacations and I definitely look forward to staying here again!
