This log cabin is located about 14 miles due West of Robbinsville, NC (zip 28771) in an unspoiled and unpopulated area with lush forests, tall mountains and fast flowing mountain streams. The setting is so special that it will probably redefine the terms "private and remote". It is a no stress, safe environment offering a scenic feast for the eyes with the natural background noise of a bold mountain stream cascading over rocks and boulders. The immediate area offers trout fishing, hiking or strolling, extreme mountain biking, hunting, ATV riding, birding and just rest. A short drive away, you will find boating on Lake Santeetlah and Fontana, scenic driving or motorcycle riding on the Cherohala Skyway and the Tail of the Dragon, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Slickrock and Snowbird Wilderness Areas, Cherokee and Harrah's Casino, Smoky Mountain Scenic Railroad, whitewater rafting on the Nantahala and Cheoah rivers, and local art and craft studios.
