The Clark Street Lodge is Rocheport's ideal vacation rental for small groups including Katy Trail cyclists, girlfriend getaways, families and scrapbooking, quilting and crafting retreat groups or for couples looking for a more private lodging option.
The Lodge has 2 units that may be rented separately for smaller groups or together as a 'whole house rental' for a larger group. The 1600 square foot 'Cottage'unit on the first floor will accommodate up to 10 people. The 900+ square foot 'Loft' unit on the second floor will accommodate up to 6 people.

Seven of us gathered for a college reunion at the Clark Street Lodge. The check-in process is incredibly efficient and easy, especially with us arriving at varying times. The lodge is amazing! The decor is welcoming and lovely -- even fun. It is very spacious so with this many people, you never feel as if you are cramped. There are multiple places for large numbers of people to comfortably be together. The kitchen is well equipped; has everything needed to fix meals in the lodge and the breakfast provisions are more than abundant/fitting to different tastes. There is great attention to detail in meeting every need i.e. plenty of towels, very nice bedding, laundry room and spacious bathrooms. It is very clean -- the white glove kind of clean! The proprietors are very gracious in checking in to make sure needs and expectations are met. The town of Rocheport is small and charming. There are a few shops and antique or flea market kinds of places within walking distance. The biggest attraction is the beauty of the Katy Trail for walking or biking and the Les Bourgeois Winery Bistro that is a short drive or a short hike away.

I have stayed with the owners of the Clark Street Lodge at the main building The Schoolhouse B&B; numerous times in conjunction with a professional meeting held there annually. My spouse and I often said we should stay an extra night, when we weren't working, and enjoy the town and the amenities. Well we did, but not in The Schoolhouse, but at the Lodge. We loved it. It was huge for two people, but we enjoyed being able to have our own kitchen. It was user friendly, clean and quiet. The innkeepers were mindful of our privacy and provided what we desired for breakfast. It would be a fun place to stay w/a group of couples or family. I highly recommend it. Plus Rocheport is a great town.
