Our home is located in a small secluded neighborhood south or Rockaway Beach in an area known as Twin Rocks. The neighborhood is adjacent to a Christian summer camp, so is is quiet and there are lots of pine trees throughout the area. We have a long 50' driveway so parking is not a problem. Everything from the decor & furnishings to the location of this house, made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. Along with that, making reservations was very easy and painless, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We will look forward to staying here again someday, and would recommend it to family and friends.

PortlandClean, quiet, and spectacular beach house, feels better than a h
Left on 10/09/2012 for a stay in October 2012
The first thing you'll notice when walking into this house is that it's extremely clean, well maintained, and accommodating. The house is so clean it feels like a model home. The kitchen is well stocked with a variety of small appliances and kitchen tools for making simple quick meals to preparing full-on gourmet dinners.
The house is situated on a nice, quiet private residential street that's away from the all the bustle. Easily manageable for families with younger children, it's a short stroll to the private access that opens up to a beautiful and clean exclusive beach.
The adults and kids all enjoyed roasting marshmallows with the backyard fire pit and lounging in real wood adirondack chairs. The interior of the house has high vaulted ceilings that feels open and airy with skylights that brighten up the house well during the day. The modern home theater system with the expansive media library and satellite TV will keep everyone well entertained indoors. The house has other bonus features such as video game systems, shelves full of books and board games, a wagon loaded with beach toys, and even several wetsuits and boards for those who dare to brave the Pacific waves.
Mike the homeowner exemplifies the meaning of great customer service and is easy to communicate and work with. We've stayed at this house on two separate trips this year already. This is a place that you'll be happy to spend your time and money at. We can't wait for our next visit there. It's just that good! -

Portland, ORPerfect vacation weekend away
Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Hi Mike,
This weekend was wonderful! Even better than we had hoped. The boogie boards were awesome, the weather was perfect, the house was amazing and had everything we could have needed (except garlic powder!), beds were comfortable, fire pit was a very fun addition, and we had such a great time! It was also nice to use the little pulling wagon to bring all of our stuff out to the beach. After reading previous reviews about how it can be difficult to get all the linens washed, dried, and folded to check out by 11am, we all decided to bring our own sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels so that we could sleep in and relax on our final morning. It worked out really well and I definitely recommend it to future vacationers. We all wish we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely keep your place in mind for future vacations. Thanks so much!!

This is an immaculate home, just a half block from a quiet, white sand beach. It was our third stay, and the house has always been so clean and comfortable. Love the firepit in the backyard and the fact that all the beach gear is provided (umbrella, chairs, surf boards, sand toys). It is family friendly with the three bed, two bath. The kids love the bunk beds and the big screen tv. The owners have always been such a pleasure to deal with. You cannot go wrong with this rental

We just held our annual family retreat at Paradise at Pine Beach and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the pictures didn't do the house justice. Everything was absolutely beautiful, and the house was so fully stocked, we didn't lack for anything. We will be back!

This is a fantastic house in Rockaway Beach, OR. While it's not on the beach, the trail is only about 100 feet from the front of the house, and then it's perhaps a hundred feet more to the sand. Certainly close enough to run back and get the kids' sunglasses you forgot.
The expanse of beach is large with soft sand. We were there in August, and there were only ever a couple of other groups close-by. The water is cold, however. Some wetsuits are provided - our kids never felt the cold.
The house is comfortable and fantastically stocked. Video games, tons of movies, towels, sheets, pillows, some pantry items (loved the hot chocolate and mayonnaise packets), a fire pit, wood, kindling, and, most importantly, skewers for roasting marshmallows. There are also boogie boards and beach toys at the house.
The city of Rockaway Beach is a quiet town - much less for tourism than some of the larger destinations. Tillamook is only about 10-15 minutes away, though, so it's quite easy to run to the grocery store or eat in larger restaurants if that's your preference.
We are timeshare/vacation condo rental veterans, and this is one of the best places we've stayed.
You will not be disappointed! -

Portland, ORA thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable mini-vacation.
Left on 08/24/2009 for a stay in August 2009
Sarah and Mike have provided a lovely vacation home that has been most comfortably furnished. We extremely pleased with all the amenities such as the huge TV, the audio system, and the living room furniture. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and the friendly neighbors. Our only suggestions would be to provide a few lounge chairs on the rear deck and an additional end table with lamp in bedroom number two (for reading the books in the well equipped bookcase. We wish that we could have stayed longer. Oh yes... collect the menues from the reasonably close restaurants.

Left on 08/15/2009 for a stay in July 2009
Our family spent four days at this lovely home. The location was super with a short walk to a long sandy beach. The home provided many ammenities which were perfect for the variety of weather we experienced. On sunny days the kids boogie boarded in the waves; we flew kites, rode bikes and walked on the miles and miles of sand. The huge TV and X-box provided hours of entertainment on the not so nice days. The fire pit in the backyard was perfect at the end of the day. Rockaway Beach is a short trip away with lots of little shops to browse. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. We look forward to returning!!

Lincoln, NebraskaUnderrated - a VERY wonderful experience!
Left on 07/31/2009 for a stay in July 2009
We arrived to a spotless, well maintained rental property on Pine Beach. Finding it was a breeze with the great instructions given us both via email and phone.
The location was 1 minute from RockAway Beach for any needed items, or just a short 15 min. drive to Tillamook for perhaps more extensive items.
The bedrooms were spacious enough, the bedding very comfortable, the kitchen and supplies MORE than ample and easily accessible, and the general area WELL maintained and very clean.
We really don't have anything negative to say - only improvement might be safer stairs down the back deck to the ground..and perhaps better seating around the firepit..but overall; everything was excellent - the location, being only a short walk to the beach couldn't have been nicer as well.
We were blessed, and would rent again in a heartbeat.
