This two room apartment is a gem. I knew this apartment was going to be special when I bought this building in July of 2011. For starters, it has two great looking 200 year old fireplaces. They don't work but they're about as classy as classy can get. The woodwork and pillars are fabulous. The two new flat screen tv's on top of each mantel are a nice touch when you're going to bed or waking up and drinking your coffee in the morning. 40766Adorable property in a fabulous location

I was pleasantly surprised with my recent stay at the Deluxe Studio apartment in Downtown Rockland. The owner advertises it as a studio but there are 2 large rooms, one being a kitchen/living room combo and the other a large bedroom with a sitting area. Both spaces have flat screen TVs so in all it was much larger than I thought it would be. I was impressed with the decor and the amenities. For the price of a hotel room this adorable unit has all the comforts of home. We were able to prepare many of our own meals making this option less expensive than a hotel. The other huge plus of this property is its location. You are literally a few minutes walk to restaurants and such sites as the famous Farnsworth Museum. I grew up near Rockland and am impressed with the restaurants that have sprung up over the years. Primo's is a must for that special night out but there are many others that rank right up there. You can walk to several from this location so that extra glass of wine is no problem.
I would highly recommend this property. It is bright with natural light from the many windows and the owner has tastefully decorated with splashes of color all around. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning.
