Romantic ocean view cottage on over an acre of land across a small country road from the Drift Inn Beach - extended sandy beach for good swimming and kayak launching. Sweeping views to the south out to Brothers Island and the open Atlantic. Front yard graced with maples, spruce, fragrant firs, and a path that winds to the beach only 150 feet away.
10-15 minute walk into Port Clyde's restaurants and galleries (less than a mile). Buy your lobsters directly from the lobstermen themselves. The ferry to Monhegan Island (departing from Port Clyde) makes a great day trip.

Port Clyde is a tiny lobstering village at the tip of the St. George peninsula. As you drive down to the village, you can feel the clock turning back to a simpler time, for Port Clyde hasn't changed much since the 50's. You can buy lobster and art in the village, and staples at a general store, but the main attraction is the fresh air, spectacular ocean views and peaceful environment. If you want world-class restaurants and shopping, just drive up the 13-mile peninsula to Rockland or Camden. There's something for everyone here.
