Peaceful and quiet, this artist's retreat is privately located as the last house on a private dead end wooded road only 10 minutes from exit 2, Route I-95 in Rhode Island. Location guarantees easy access to ocean beaches, Mystic Seaport, world famous casinos and historic cities like Newport, Providence and Boston.
Area is surrounded by Audubon protected land, State forests, and special undeveloped wooded management areas. Wincheck Pond is a private lake at the southern edge of "the last green valley" and abounds with native birds and wildlife, including egrets, dragonflies and butterflies.

Quiet, end of the road location is very peaceful and feels like a private sanctuary. A great place for reading and relaxing, soaking up the sun or sitting in the shade, fishing off the dock or kayaking in the lake, or just stopping to smell the flowers.

Serenity now? Indeed! Let me tell you that working the daily grind as a trader in Boston leaves one wanting a few days away from it all. The property on Wincheck Pond exceeded my expectations in a myriad of ways...from the quaint and well appointed kitchen to to the selection of boats on which to enjoy the peaceful lake. The owners clearly take pride in this little corner of Utopian bliss. Looking quite forward to my next visit!

Mr. Brian and family enjoyed some of the warmest days in May, when the mountain laurel was in full bloom and the gardens fresh and colorful. The girls in the family were thrilled by the romantic looking bedrooms!
