Pittsburgh, PANice Surprise!
Left on 07/26/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Helen House was a nice surprise. The photos don't do it justice! The house is spotless and amazingly well stocked from top to bottom. The house is very personable yet feels like being at home. Lisa was easy to work with and customer service oriented. The room in the basement was a great gathering place to watch movies at the end of a day spent hiking. The location is off the main road so it's quiet, but within very short walking distance to the water and the convenience store. We (family of 4) came to explore and hike in Gros Morne park, and the location was ideal for that also. We hope we are able to return soon.

Very nice hosts. It was very warm the week we were there, so the home could have been more comfortable with a/C. We had rain storms, causing us to close all the windows to not ruin the floors. But the home was very nice, and provided us with a big screen TV in the basement.

The house was wonderful, really not like a rental at all, more like borrowing a friends house. Everything was there. I really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. Lisa really made us feel welcome with a tour of the place before we settled in.

All the amenities of home in a spectacular setting. Enjoyed a campfire outside. Grose Morne has so much to offer, and this location is excellent. Be sure to get some fresh seafood from the fish shop just down the street at the end of the cove. The home was spotless and fully appointed with everything our family could need.

Bradford, PennsylvaniaWe had a wonderful stay here!!
Left on 05/06/2011 for a stay in September 2010
We had a wonderful stay here. The scenery is beautiful and the people are great. Rocky Harbour is in the center of Gros Morne national park which is breath taking with many sights to see. The house is conveniently located close to a corner store and tourist shop. The house has a great location in the community, in the center but on a quiet road with privacy, a big yard and friendly neighbours. Staying at this house made us feel like we were at home with a high standard of quality and comfort. The owners were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We hope to stay here again sometime this upcomming fall and are looking forward to a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Thank you!!
