Description

3 room apartment, 71 sq.m, with living room, 2 sleeping rooms, kitchen, bathroom, large balcony and garden. Coffee and tea included. Apartment on 1st floor, no elevator. Hosts speak german and english.

Our modern equipped apartment in a rustic style with framing balcony and a large garden is located between the city of Schladming and the village Rohrmoos, only a stone's throw away from all the hotspots in the area.

There is space for 4-5 persons, you and your companions are the only guests in the house and you stay on your own separate floor.

The house is located quietly at the end of a blind alley, surrounded by meadows and forest. You can relax in the garden or have a bbq outside with your friends. A three car parking area is available free of charge.

As latest since the FIS ski world championships 2013 Schladming is well known as a centre of ski sports throughout the world. In the middle of the "Skiwelt Amadé" it provides manifold opportunities for skiers and winter sport fans. At adequate snow conditions slopes are reachable by foot, ski bus stop is at main road just 100m away. Cross country skiers can use tracks both in Rohrmoos and neighbouring place Ramsau.

For summer vacationists the mountains of "Niedere Tauern" offer nearly endless options with a giant net of hiking paths and tracks and numerous fixed rope routes. Not far away there are several adventure and roped tree climbing parks, swimming lakes, the spa of "Therme Amade" as well as summer bob runs and a mountain go-kart track. Most of those attractions can be used on reduced fair or for free with the Sommercard, we are partners of that.

Getting around

We pick you up from the train station if you wish so. Getting around in summer is free for the bus services with the summercard (C) included in your stay. There's also a car rental in Schladming in case you want to do longer day tours. But most of the things around are easy to reach by hiking bus. In winter the slopes are reachable by foot, you don't need a car or bus really. Still the ski bus is free with your day pass.

Interaction with guest

As I'm living in the ground floor of the same building I'm pretty easy to reach and close at hand. At Check-In I'm happy to fully explain the apartment, facilities and all the things you need to know from ski rental, bus connections, lift times, walks, hires to trips and restaurants to dine out.

House rules

Although Schladming is also a party location in winter there's no parties allowed at our house. We're convinced that there's enough party locations just a stone throw away. :)))
