The B&B; I Capocci is a comfortable and intimate 18th century apartment. It has been recently completely restored, both inside and in the exterior facade. It develops onto two floors connected by an internal stair. It's located at 200 m from a Metro B station.
The double-bedrooms have been decorated with passion and attention to details. Each room features comfy Pasha mattresses, private bathroom, TV, DVD player, safe, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi access.

We had a very pleasant stay at Chiara's B&B.; Before arrival, we had some questions and they answered us in a gentle way and very quickly. Upon arrival, we have been welcomed by Guido, his father, he answered all our questions in a very friendly way too, giving us some useful tips for our stay in Rome (for exemple, to visit the Dome in Vatican). The room was very nice and very clean (we met the housekeeper on our last day and she was also very friendly).
The location of the B&B; is good as it's very central and you can walk by foot from there to many hotpoints in Rome, it's a lively and nice neighbourhood as well, with nice restaurants and bars. We felt totally secure. We recommend the B&B; to anybody and would love to come back in the future! Thank you very much to Chiara and his father, we had a very nice stay in Rome! -

We had a great stay at this B&B; in the Monti area of Rome. We really enjoyed this location because it was walking distance to everything and very close to Old Rome. Guido was very helpful and helped us with check-in even after we arrived an hour late. The breakfast is offered at two locations very close to the B&B;, both very nice. Guido recommended a restaurant across the street and it was fabulous! Lots of locals and great value. Overall would stay here again.

We were a group of six adults who rented the whole apartment. From the time of booking Guido was very helpful and provided useful information when requested and this approach was continued by his daughter on our arrival. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Shower facilities were very good with plenty of hot water. The apartment is centrally located, being a ten minute walk from both the Colisseum and the Termini railway station and a two minute walk from the nearest Metro station. The apartment is located in an interesting area full of very good restaurants to cater for all tastes. I have no hesitation in recommending I Capocci as a great place to stay in Rome. To transfer between airport and apartment we used www.best-airport-transfers.com who were very punctual and cost less than rail or other taxis.

abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno a Roma e abbiamo soggiornato presso il B&B; i Capocci. veramente delizioso, ottima posizione, si arriva a piedi in ogni luogo. silenzioso e pulito, e anche il letto (che spesso è scomodo e "molle") era confortevole. a pochi passi si trovano delle ottime trattorie. lo consigliamo vivamente.

We had great communications with Guido before our actual visit. Upon arrival Guido spent time with us in getting acquainted with Rome. The rooms were very clean and while smaller still very comfortable. Location was very central to the main train terminal and just blocks from the treasures of ancient Rome. We walked to most destinations with restaurants and geliterias just around every corner.
We would recommend this B & B and would stay there again should we make a future trip to Rome -

Ho alloggiato più volte in questo B&B;: è un gioiellino nel cuore di Roma. A due passi da Termini e a pochi metri dalla fermata Cavour della metro, si trova in una posizione strategica: il quartiere Monti è centralissimo ma tranquillo, con numerosi locali tipici e negozietti, a 5 minuti a piedi da Colosseo e Fori Imperiali. La struttura è molto curata e pulita, le camere sono spaziose, tutte con bagno privato e, considerando che la zona non è trafficata, si dorme benissimo. Guido e Chiara, i proprietari, sono molto gentili e sempre disponibili a fornire preziosi consigli ai turisti. Un B&B; sopra la media e senz'altro da consigliare!

My family and I (party of 6) just returned from a weekend in Rome and a stay at B&B; I Capocci. The apartment is beautiful, very comfortable, and extremely well located. The apartment is a very short walk to a metro station and within walking distance of most of the major attractions in Rome. The neighborhood, however, is not "touristy" - you feel like you're in "real Rome" - not a tourist area. There are great neighborhood restaurants very close by. I highly recommend B&B; I Capocci - especially if you have a family or a large group. As another reviewer stated, this is really an apartment rental, not a B&B;, but it is very nice. Breakfast is included at a hotel that is about 100 meters down the street or a cafe a couple of blocks away. We used the hotel for breakfast and it was a typical European breakfast. Guido does expect to be paid in cash in advance so make sure you have the necessary cash when you arrive. I had to walk 2 or 3 blocks to a cash machine when we checked in because I didn't realize the Guido doesn't accept credit cards.

Guido was a wonderful host, very accommodating and helpful. He gave us a local map which was very useful and also easiest ways to visit the most popular attractions with kids.
The house itself is beautiful and very traditional with all the mod-cons. I would also like to add that its filled with character in every nook and corner and made us feel like we are truly in Rome.
The Colosseum is just 5 mins walk from the accommodation and most of the places are accessible by foot from the B&B.; We very rarely had to use public transport which made it easier with pushchairs.
Overall, we highly recommend I Capocci as a wonderful place to stay in Rome. -

My husband and I spent 4 nights at 'I Capocci', and found it to be well suited to our needs. It is in a nice area, not overrun by tourists, and with several small, interesting shops and restaurants nearby, and yet a short walk to the colisseum, and steps from the subway with easy access to all of Rome.
The house is kept immaculately clean, and seems to have been recently renovated. The rooms are small but cosy, with great bathrooms, and beds are comfortable. Small touches such as water bottles and candies in the rooms show care and attention to detail.
The owner, Guido, is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and although we only saw him upon our arrival, was always available to answer questions instantly by email.
We would not hesitate to recommend this B&B; to anyone looking for value, location and a super clean spot in Rome.

Come pensavamo guardando preventivamente le fotografie ci siamo trovati bene nel B & B. Centrale, vicino alla metro, silenzioso, pulito, ben arredato e con belle rifiniture architettoniche, colazione all'italiana di buon livello (un pò scomodo uscire per la colazione in un altro albergo, ma la qualità sicuramente si avvantaggia). Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Situated in in the ancient, historical part of the city and within 10 minutes walk of the Colloseo.
Stayed at i capocci twice now and loved it both times. Excellent apartment. Lovely, professional hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. Whole apartment was very clean and well presented.
Highly recommended both as an apartment in its own right and as an alternative to staying in a hotel. -

I Capocci B&B; was just fantastic. The location was perfect for walking to all the major attractions. We even walked to the Vatican, about 35 minutes away. The establishment was very comfortable and beautifully presented, and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. We were given plenty of useful information upon arrival and breakfast vouchers for use in one of the two nearby cafes (the one slightly further away was definitely the better one, so much so that we went back for dinner as well). You really can't go wrong staying here!
There is nothing negative to say about our stay at I Capocci and we'd definitely come back. -

Great kindness and availability of the Staff.Tidy rooms and furniture.Proximity to bars,restaurants and pizzeria.Ideal location in the hearth of Rome,very close to most important archeological sites,and to subway and bus stop.

Located about 8 blocks from the Central Train station it is an easy walk to the B&B.; Centrally located to the Forum, great restaurants, and other amenities this is a great place to stay in Rome. Beautiful facility and receptive owner made our stay a pleasant one. Breakast is provided by the owner, but in the form of vouchers for a cafe 100 yds away. Nice, but a little inconvenient.
