This apartment was absolutely wonderful for our recent trip to Rome. It is actually two next to each other apartments, all of the pictures are of the main apartment. There is another equally nice (but smaller) place next door that has a second small kitchen, bedroom, bath, and living room with pull out sofa. This worked out great for us because the part of the family that was traveling with children had a seperate space. The apartment is not right in the middle of the dot on the "in this area" map. It is actually south of that - but that makes it even more centrally located. It was 2 blocks to Trevi Fountain in one direction and 4 blocks to the Forum/Colleseum in another. Great bakery and gelato down on the corner and a 100+ year old chocolate shop one block away. Our first time doing an apartment rental instead of a hotel and we were full of questions while planning - they were very patient and helpful every step of the way.

The apartment is in a great location right in the heart of old Rome. Most major attractions are within walking distance (eg 2 minutes to Trevi Fountain) or if you prefer a short cab ride. It was clean and tidy, spaceous and well appointed. There were a couple of minor issues (one toilet seat broken, toaster broken and no instructions for washing machine in Italian) but all in all we really enjoyed our stay. The terrace was lovely and sunny, perfect for an evening vino and we were very pleased there was a lift. Would certainly recommend.
