      Great stay and service

Left on 05/26/2013 for a stay in May 2013

We had a really great stay at Pasquino - the apartment isn't luxurious but it's in a great location to easily walk to all the sights, it's convenient, comfortable, well-equipped, quiet and clean. There is a taxi stand very near but we only used it to return to the airport. The windows are well insulated - we barely heard street noise and didn't hear anything from the other apartments in the building either. We all slept well. The apartment is well laid out and allows for privacy in that the bedrooms are separated from the living space with a door that leads to the first bedroom and bath (with closets) and then another door to the master bedroom, again with closets and bath. And the people at the hotel couldn't have been nicer. We ate breakfast there three mornings - a very nice addition to the apartment - it's less than a five minute walk. The Wifi worked perfectly and there is English language Sky TV and lots of travel books. Someone said not to eat in the restaurants directly in the Pasquino area but we had two delicious meals with great service at the restaurant, Terra di Siena, which is right around the corner at the front of the apartment building. Also, making the reservation was easy and communication with Italy Perfect indeed perfect - emails were promptly answered and telephone calls returned. We would definitely use them again.

      Charming, bustling location

Left on 05/04/2013 for a stay in April 2013

First time to rent an apartment for an overseas holiday and it all went as smooth as could be.

The apartment is larger and brighter than perhaps seems in the photos. It has wonderful painted ceilings in all rooms. The fittings e.g. crockery, is of the highest quality. The lift works well and the door lock is very secure indeed. There were a couple of elderly people in our group and it was very convenient to them. We came during spring, so didnt't need to use the aC.

Location in Piazza Pasquino is right beside Piazza Navona. That's perhaps too busy an area for most tastes but it made it easy with taxis (for the oldies) as there's a taxi rank nearby and we just had to ask for Navona to come home. Find out about the 2200 year old status in Pasquino, it is very intersting! Shops: Carrefour on the same street is excellent. However walk 50m further, turn right towards a church, and there is a nicer small old-fashioned supermarket that sells wonderful bread, and near it is a butcher.

Restaurants: Piazza Pasquino is not the place to eat. It's a tourist magnet with the usual prices and indifferent service, and anywhere around Navona is as bad. However walk to Carrefour and beyond and once you get 100m away from Pasquino the restaurants become much nicer and friendlier and cheaper, and their clientele more obviously local.

      Ideal Location!

Left on 04/23/2013 for a stay in April 2013

Our vacation in Rome was wonderful! It started with our warm greeting at the airport from Stefano, our driver. We had a party of 5 and Stefano made our trip into Rome very easy. The greeter showed us the apartment was answered all of our questions. Pasquino apartment was ideally located about a block from the Piazza Navona and very near the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. A taxi stand, bus stop, pharmacy and grocery are very close.

The apartment itself is a quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle. The apartment is spacious with ample room for relaxing and good closet space. The kitchen is well equipped and the Nespresso machine was a bonus. Bring your own capsules or buy them there. The bathrooms are updated, - a little quirky - but just fine. The beds were very comfortable, the wireless was very easy to use and fairly speedy. All in all, excellent.
Our favorite restaurant was right downstairs. Cul de Sac offers wonderful, inventive small plates and great wine. Trattoria Moderne was excellent, reasonably priced and highly suggested.

We would also highly recommend Christina Buonasera as a wonderful, personable, guide. Christina made Rome and Roman history come alive. We toured the Palantine Hill and Colosseum one day and the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel another. Christina met us at the apartment, arranged tickets to get us around the lines and was professional and delightful.

Alan Epstein gave us walking tour of everyday Rome and was a highlight of the trip. A wonderful story teller and historian, Alan's sense of humor and history are not to be missed.

We also took a day trip to Tivoli and Villa D'Este. Stefano drove us and also arranged for an amazing lunch at Sibilla, a two fork Michelan star restaurant with amazing views and equally wonderful food. Highly recommended.

Italy Perfect did just that. Our accommodations, logistics and guides made our time in Rome perfect. Pat Byrne was a great source of information. We would definitely use Italy Perfect again.

      Fantastic apartment in Rome!

Left on 01/23/2013 for a stay in December 2012

My family of 2 adults and 1 13yr old stayed at this wonderful apartment for 8 nights in Nov/Dec 2012. The apartment was huge and very comfortable and in the most wonderful area. We felt like we saw the "real" Rome, buying groceries in the local markets, eating in the nearby restaurants and being acknowledged by some of the locals (when walking past) was truly fantastic. The breakfasts at Hotel Tiziano set us up for the day. The staff there were just so welcoming and friendly, it was a joy going there each day. The apartment was very warm & very quiet, had good water pressure, extremely fast wi-fi and great selection of travel books to plan your days. The washing machine was appreciated and well used. It took a few hours to go through the cycle but we had been warned and used to plan our day so that the washing was finished on our return in the afternoon! We were slightly confused to begin with though, trying to read the Italian words on the machine, because the English instructions were hopeless. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed including a fabulous coffee machine and we really appreciated the big umbrellas available as we had a lot of rain the week we were there and needed them in the evenings in particular, when going out for dinner! The only negative thing would be the sofas in the lounge room. They are a bit old now and not very comfortable. This was disappointing, when you have been walking all day and want a nice comfortable place to sit so perhaps these need updating. All beds were firm but very comfortable and we all slept really well. It was nice having a place where windows opened to get some fresh air too! We highly recommend this apartment, it was in a great location and we could walk to all the major sights! The absolute highlight though was all the wonderful restaurants close by. We did not have a bad meal the whole week and ate out every night! It truly was a fantastic experience renting this apartment in Rome!

      Fantastic!! Nov 2012
The Pasquino apartment was fantastic! Stefano picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the airport making the trip easy and comfortable. The hotel staff met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked.

Tha apartment was beautiful, high ceilings with lovely beams, furnishings and bathrooms. Everything you could want from a home away from home.

We were able to walk to all of the sights and the nearby plaza was awesome with all of the fountains and statues. Breakfast at the hotel was good and got us started on our early morning strolls through Rome.

I wouldn't change a thing. A great time was had by all and would definitely stay at the Pasquino apartment again and again.

Left on 10/08/2012 for a stay in September 2012

The apartment was very nice and in a great location, in terms of walking to major destinations. It was, however, in a very busy part of town and therefore very noisy at all hours. Fortunately, there was air conditioning which allowed us to close shutters and windows and block out the noise.

There are many good restaurants within a five minute walk of the apartment. We especially enjoyed the Cul de Sac.

Everything about this rental was handled with great care and professionalism. I would definitely use Italy Perfect again, and plan to use it in other cities when I travel.

      Nice apartment in Piazza Navona

Left on 09/29/2012 for a stay in August 2012

Our family of 5 stayed at Pasquino apartment in august 2012. The apartment has been remodelled and has enough space for 5 people, although it has beds for up to seven.

The a/C, wi-fi and cable worked liked a charm. The location is fantastic with just a 2 min walk to Piazza Navona and a 5 min walk to Campo dei Fiori. There is a taxi stand very close to the apartment. However, buses are readily available from the main road. A Carrefour express is very close to the apartment (grocery store)

The kitchen is modern and great for cooking. All utensils required are available.

Breakfast is included in the price and it is taken at a nearby hotel. Breakfast is basic (cereal, milk, yoghurt, cheese, ham, juice, coffee, bread and pastries) and it will help you start your day.

      comfortable apartment in excellent location

Left on 06/18/2012 for a stay in May 2012

The Pasquino apartment has two bedrooms very private from each other and each with its own bath. It has all new modern ppliances, a spacious well-stocked eat-in kitchen, and an outstanding perk: one can eat a very nice breakfast at a nearby hotel. Also, the hotel staff are available immediately if there is any problem in the apartment and does everything to supply the apartment well and accommodate one's requests. For example, there is a Nespresso type coffee machine, and the landlord brought us a very large supply of capsules for it, so we wouldn't run out. It is about 2 minutes walk to Piazza Navona. I highly recommend this rental.

      Holiday in Rome

Left on 03/20/2012 for a stay in December 2011

Our family spent the Christmas Holidays in Rome (2011-2012) and stayed in the Pasquino apartment. We have two children in their late twenties. The accommodations were excellent and definitely made the trip. The apartment is large, good light, good beds, comfortable and had plenty of closet space. An added plus was the association with a hotel only one block away. The hotel was wonderful to us and Maximo gave us valuable information. Breakfast at the hotel come with the apartment and they offer a good selection of food. The apartment is centrally located and we could walk everywhere. You are just steps away from a taxi waiting area or a bus stop. Be sure not to miss The abbey, an Irish Pub that serves excellent food and everyone speaks English. Definitely a comfort place and it is just up Via Del Governo Vecchio one block.Campo de Fior is across the street and has a pastry shop, Scelto di Pane Scelta that has wonderful sandwiches. The shop is on your way into the market area. Very popular with the locals. Leave your cell phone at home. Buy a Samsung phone at Bros S.R.L. for 29 Euros, it comes with 5 Euros of time. The shop is right across the street from the hotel. We made calls in Italy for 3 cents a minute and only 8 cents to USa. You can add time as you go. We had Blue Care Service pick us up at the Fiumicino airport for 37 Euros, luggage included, a real bargin!. We had a wonderful trip and staying at the Pasquino made the difference. My family definitely would recommend Italy Perfect.

Pasquino - right at the center of it all

Left on 12/06/2011 for a stay in October 2011

I had a wonderful trip in late October and stayed at this great apartment. Perhaps the greatest asset is its location. From here it's just a short walk to Campo de Fiori (which I visited nearly every day), Piazza Navona (a perfect way to end the day), as well as all the other must see places -- Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Capitoline Hill, Trevi Fountain. I never had to catch a cab or bus anywhere (except to reach St. Peter's). What a joy to see everything and feel so at home. One of my favorite memories was coming home from a day of wandering and hearing a street musician playing outside my window as if I was being seranaded.

      Great experience - Great value

Left on 12/06/2011 for a stay in November 2011

Pasquino was perfect for our family vacation in Rome. The photographs don't do it justice. It is nicer and larger than they indicate. It isn't 5 star luxurious, but very nice and comfortable. Compared to two decent hotel rooms in Rome, it is an incredible value.

The greeter was waiting for us and helped us with our luggage. He explained what we needed to know about the apartment. Being associated with the hotel was great, not only for the free continental breakfast (which offers more than danish and fruit), but also because there is always someone available if there is an issue. The linens were high quality and towels plentiful. The baths were well supplied with paper goods and toiletries. The fridge was stocked with bottled water and the pantry had most of the staples you would need. WiFi and heat worked fine. A nice touch was the selection of umbrellas by the front door for the one rainy day we had.

The location is great, Piazza Navona and Campo di Fiori are 1 and 2 blocks away respectively. You are on Governo Veccio, which has nice boutique shopping and restaurants/bars, including an Irish pub that shows NFL and Ncaa games. Pantheon is 5 minutes away. Spanish Steps is a 15 minute stroll.

This is a popular area that has several restaurants/bars downstairs and across the piazza and there were a couple of nights that we could hear the revelers from the living room. However the bedroom window has triple glass and noise was not a problem. The master bed is very firm, but not uncomfortable. My 15 and 17 year olds loved being in the middle of everything and we were comfortable with them being out in the area.

Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of Pasquino.

This is the second time I have stayed in one of Italy Perfect's apartments, and it was wonderful. The apartment was close to everything, even excellent restaurants and gelateries. What more could you want accept for a great place to stay, and Pasquino was a great place to stay. Pasquino is a very nice and comfortable apartment with lots of room of room to relax. After staying in two of Italy Perfect's apartments, you really can't go wrong staying with them. One thing you might want to consider when planning your trip to Rome is traveling there in the fall. Rome is hot and busy in the summer. But, the weather in the fall is excellent and the crowds are smaller.

      very nice apartment great location

Left on 07/31/2011 for a stay in June 2011

This apartment worked beautifully for our family of five (three daughters ages 16, 19, 21). It was more spacious and comfortable then I expected and nicely furnished. We all appreciated the wi-fi internet. The two bathrooms (one with tub/shower, one with shower) worked well once we figured out to make sure the hot water heater was on. The kitchen was nicely stocked with basics (tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil...). The connection to the Hotel Tiziano was a definite plus. The staff was very helpful, meeting us at the apartment, showing us how everything worked and explaining where to catch various buses for sightseeing. They also let me use their computer and printer at the hotel to print out our boarding passes and arranged for our taxi to the airport. It was nice to have the option of having breakfast at the hotel, although we more often just made coffee and had a light breakfast at the apartment. The location could not be better! On a cute little square that has some nice restaurants (loved the salad place) and is quite lively most evenings, two blocks from the Piazza Navona, and a five minute walk to the Campo di Fiori. We walked everywhere except to the Borghesi Museum (and the hotel explained where to get the bus to go there. The Vatican was a twenty-minute walk (add an extra 10-15 minutes to go around to the entrance to the museum). Pantheon, Forum/Coliseum, Travestere - all very walkable. On a couple of nights there was a bit of noise from the lively crowd at the Piazza Pasquino - although for some odd reason the square was fairly quiet by midnight on the weekend evenings. It would be a good idea to have some earplugs if you are a light sleeper - just in case...

We arrived with lists of restaurants but did just as well on our own. This is a wonderful neighborhood, full of interesting restaurants, shops and great walking streets. Only one suggestions - add grab bars for the showers! The master bathtub/shower is a big step up and over. As seniors, we would have felt more secure with something to hold on to.

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely apartment. Comfortable, cool, spacious and quiet, it was the perfect place to return to after the busy days exploring this lovely city. Everything we needed was there and it was perfectly clean on our arrival. We even used the Hotel Tiziano for breakfast and the staff (who manage the apartment) were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Pasquino is perfectly located, just one street away from the beautiful Piazza Navona, with a multitude amazing restaurants within a few minutes walk. We walked from the apartment to every major landmark in the old city of Rome Pat and the team at Italy Perfect made everything so easy, even to the point of organising the wonderful Stefano to collect us from the airport. What an amazing introduction to Rome - four coins went into the Trevi Fountain, so we will all return again I'm sure! We also loved being so close to the Campo di Fiori and the Pantheon. The apartment itself did not disappoint, either - it was spacious enough for seven of us, very well designed, and clean. Even the pullout couch was comfy! The breakfast each morning at the Hotel Tiziano was a great perk and the staff of the Hotel Tiziano was very helpful during our stay.

      Perfect holiday

Left on 02/11/2011 for a stay in January 2011

Just returned from a wonderful Roman Holiday staying at the Pasquino apartment. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed and, after reading some of the reviews, was more than expected. With a well equipped kitchen, plenty of linen, central heating (it was winter), comfortable bed and sofas plus cable TV, it was perfect for our stay. The cable has plenty of channels to choose from with many movie channels available in English (with a little work on the remote).
Being approx ten to fifteen minutes walk to most attractions and with many restaurants to choose from the location could not be better. If you want to eat with the locals try "La Montecarlo” only a minute's walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele towards the Vatican. We found it to be an inexpensive local with great food and friendly staff.
Thanks for all the info and help with everything Lisa, I will be using your services again and telling my friends also.

Left on 12/14/2010 for a stay in November 2010

Our stay at the Pasquino apartment was everything we were hoping for and more. The location was right in the center, everything was within walking distance. Loved the charming piazza below the apartment, spent many a long dinner at several of the great restaurants there. The photos and information is accurate, apartment was clean and comfortable. The concierge assistance and free breakfast was very welcome, made everything so easy. This was our third trip to Rome and our friends first trip, it was a perfect apartment for our Rome stay.

      Pasquino - great location!

Left on 11/27/2010 for a stay in November 2010

We were quite pleased with the Pasquino apartment. The location was outstanding - very close to Piazza Navonna, one of our favorite Rome neighborhoods and Campo Fiori is only two blocks away. The little piazza outside our window was alive with activity - cafe's, shops, people - but it was quiet inside the apartment. The breakfast arrangement with Hotel Tiziano was very nice - only a 5 minute walk and the Tiziano staff was very helpful. The WiFi internet worked well. We give high marks to Italy Perfect for your rental process. There were only two of in this apartment which is advertised for 6-7 people. I would say 4 would fit comfortably - 6 or 7 only if they are willing to disassemble the living room every night. The kitchen was adequate - need some dish towels! All in all it met our needs very nicely.

      Wonderful stay!

Left on 11/18/2010 for a stay in October 2010

We had a wonderful stay at the Pasquino apartment. The description and website photos are accurate. Location was fantastic! We walked everywhere, found many excellent restaurants in the neighborhood. Everything went very smooth from the booking process, arrival and during our 8 night stay. Lisa at Italy Perfect was an invaluable source of information and tips. Staff at nearby hotel which serves breakfast was very cheerful and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again! From Rome we proceeded to Florence where we stayed in another Italy Perfect property. Everything was so nice and well managed.

well appointed apartment in great location

Left on 10/26/2010 for a stay in September 2010

This apartment is located in the Piazza Pasquino which is very close to the Piazza Navona. We stayed for around 8 days in September 2010.
I would rate this apartment 3.5 stars, if that was as option. Whether it would suit you depends very much on what is important to you personally. It was less stylish than some of the other places we stayed, but was in a great location and was well appointed (had TV, washing machine, good size kitchen etc)
The best thing about the apartment for us was the location - it was central, with many shops and restaurants at the door. Piazza Pasquino and the Via del Governo Vecchio quickly felt familiar -there was a fabulous supermarket on Via del Governo Vecchio which looked small but had a big range of fresh food, including freshly baked bread. The apartment was quiet - although it was a busy area we found that there was very little street noise, and in any case we often opened the windows to hear the cafes and general lively Rome ambience.
The apartment was a reasonable size, although we had just come from a much larger apartment in Florence so Pasquino suffered by comparison. It was also a bit dark and the decor was rather old fashioned - this is a matter of personal taste obviously. The layout of the rooms was good with the bedrooms and living area separate. We found the main bed quite firm (!!) but this had been noted on the website, so we had been warned.
We checked in with no problems and the association with the Hotel Tiziano was a plus.
The kids book Pat sent was excellent. It got a lot of use, so thanks!

Awesome apartment in a terrific Roma location

Left on 07/19/2010 for a stay in July 2010

After spending many hours searching for the perfect location for our 5 night stay in Rome, I came across the Italy Perfect website. What a great find!! We decided to end our 3 week Italy vacation by staying in the Pasquino apartment near the famous Piazza Navona. Our children, 7 and 11 years old, loved the "library style" bedroom. My wife appreciated the large kitchen, washing machine and especially the air conditioning. We all appreciated the location, and having access to sky TV which broadcast several channels in English.

The hotel with free breakfast and concierge services was less than a 5 minute walk away from the apt. The Vatican is a 20 minute walk, and the Trevi Fountain is a 15 minute walk in a different direction. The location cannot be beat for experiencing what Roman evenings are like. The Piazza Navona is the largest piazza in Rome, and in the evenings it is filled with music, laughter and food.

I will definitely use Italy Perfect again next time we go to Italy. Having access to Pat Byrne's vast knowledge of Italy is a valuable resource.

      Grazie,
      Mike

      Fabulous time at Pasquino

Left on 07/18/2010 for a stay in June 2010

Our family of 6 loved Pasquino. The apartment was very comfortable and very convenient to just about everything. The neighborhood had a lot of character. It reminded me of Greenwich Village in the summertime. There was alot going on ,alot to see. The streets did not go to sleep until late at night. My older children found it very exciting. The hotel Tiziano was a great plus. The staff were very kind and very helpful Their american coffee at breakfast was better than any american coffee I ever tasted in NY. We had a wonderful experience and would love to stay there again when we return to Rome. It was the perfect choice for us. There were many wonderful restaurants in the area. We tried something different every night. We used your list but even tried wome off the list. We were never disappointed and we are Italian and cook all the time. Every little street and alley had something interesting to see. Nearby, Piazza Navona was also a very interesting place. Something always going on there. I would not recommend this area to someone who prefers a quiet atmosphere. This was a lively place.I can't wait to return. Your service was excellent from beginning to end. The websites were very helpful and very informative. It was very easy to use your services.

Great Rome Location for Family with Kids

Left on 06/24/2010 for a stay in June 2010

We are a family of five with three children: ages 6, 10 and 12 years and just stayed at the Pasquino apartment in Rome. We couldn't have selected a more perfect accommodation as a base for viewing the wonderful city of Rome. The location was perfect, just blocks from Piazza Navona. From there, getting to all the primary sights such as the Vatican, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain was easy. Also, grocery stores and restaurants were minutes away so we could go back the apartment for a rest break (which you need with a 6 year old) and then enjoy the European late dinners and evening strolls around the piazzas.
The apartment itself was incredibly spacious and elegantly appointed. The decor was beautiful but comfortable. Breakfast at the nearby hotel was very convenient.
We had a wonderful stay and will definitely use Italy Perfect in the future.
      Thank you!

      We'd love to come back!

Left on 03/10/2010 for a stay in March 2010

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pasquino apartment. The apartment is spacious and clean, with comfy beds and sofas, plentiful linen, and a fast and reliable internet connection. The apartment is perfectly located and we walked almost everywhere, even with two little ones. And when we got tired, the buses on the Corsa Vittorio Emanuele II were nearby and frequent. We dined locally in the evenings and the kids loved playing on the Piazza Navona and gorging on ice-cream afterwards. We also found the links with the hotel very beneficial – it was great to have breakfast every morning to get us up and on our way, and somewhere to leave our bags on the day of departure. The staff were always polite and helpful and we were grateful for the welcoming touches of bottled water in the fridge and milk. We would love to return some day.

Comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, great linen and towels, internet service, adequate kitchen, elevator, comfy beds.
Idealy located near Piazza Navona with wonderful restaurants all around, and tourist sights all within walking distance. Piazza Pasquino is alive with people well into the night almost every night. Hotel nearby that supervised was very polite and helpful and served a good breakfast.

Thank you for being great guests. I will mention that the master bedroom window, that overlooks Piazza Pasquino, has a sound dampening window as well as an independently controlled heat pump system so no need to open windows at night.
