Ok so the location is great - a stone's throw from the Piazza Navona - but this accommodation is just not worth the €150 a night that Retrome charge. The photographs on their website show the place in an extremely flattering light. For "retro-styled", read "hasn't been decorated for ten years but we did nail a poster of a Vespa on the wall". The fuses blew every time you switched more than two lights on simultaneously. There are random camp beds and extra mattresses in every corner, giving the place a real backpackers' hostel vibe. Nasty mis matched bedding, scruffy mis matched furniture and a really tatty feel to the place. No wi-fi despite this being advertised (surely this is standard?) with only a plug-in modem available. Avoid this, and any other apartment offered by Retrome. Their marketing is misleading and their prices are way too high for the standard of accommodation offered. Disappointing.

Tel Aviva spacious apartment in an amazing location

The location of the apt is extraordinary, just 100m from Piazza Navona and in a small cool street with restaurants, coffee shops and small quaint designer shops. Although it's a happening street, the apt is on the back so there's no noise.
The apt is specious and convenient (enough closets, tiny but functional kitchen and clean bathroom) and well equipped.
The only comment I have is that it could use more windows for air and light but I understand that due to its location in the building it's not an easy thing to solve.
All and all was absolutely worth it as the price was good and the stay was lovely!

We had a wonderful time in this RetRome apartment. The location is as good as you can imagine - 200 meters from Piazza Navona, and from there to any major tourist destination in Rome (we have not used the public transportation at all). Even the walk to the Vatikan was a nice 20 minutes walk.
The apartment has 2 bedroom and a big living room. We also used the kitchen for breakfast and dinner for the kids). Stefano, the owner was very kind and helped us with many tips on how to shop and dine. This is by far the best value in comparison to any hotel accomodation, and we highly recommend it.
