Madrid, SpainCasa acogedora agradable y con una buena ubicación
Left on 04/11/2013 for a stay in March 2013

Shrewsbury, United KingdomGreat apartment in a central location
Left on 11/01/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We stayed for four nights in Oct 12 and found the apartment to be clean, central and good value for money. The immediate vicinity is not as attractive to the eye as other parts of the city, but having travelled extensively, it seemed safe and we didnt have any problems at all. Like many places, once you enter a building on a slightly shabby street you enter a different world. The same can be said for the Indian restaurant across the street (Krishna 13). It doesnt look much from the outside but its another world once you enter. We would stay here again and the little touches in the apartment (free computer use, wifi, books and Dvds etc) really make the difference.

Virginia, USALove love love love!!
Left on 08/06/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We spent a month touring Europe and this was my favorite apartment by far. I will admit when I pulled up I was hesitant as the outside with all of the locals sitting on the street is a little scary looking. However it is very safe and everyone was very nice to us. Gianni truely though of everything! He has a map on the door that has all of the major sights and how to get there. He also has tons of other maps and information of sights. I couldnt think of anything that I needed or wished I had. Gianni thought of it all! Many of the sights, train station, and grocery store are within walking distance. The air conditioner was a great feature as it was over 90 degrees! All of the appliances were new. The apartment was very clean. He even had a power converter and hair dryer. We didnt use the computer but we did use the internet which was very fast. He didnt charge a cleaning fee which was a first. However the respect he shows you makes you want to take such good care of everything that you will keep it clean. I cant say enough good things about our stay! I would almost travel back to Rome just to stay there.

Virginia, USGreat experience in Rome - thank you, Gianni
Left on 04/16/2012 for a stay in April 2012
Our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids, 7 and 17) rented Gianni's flat for 3 days during the spring break.
We have found the flat to meet and exceed our expectations. Newly renovated, right in the middle of Rome, walking distance to practically most centrally located attractions, the flat is definitely the best deal for its price.
I have conducted a pretty extended research prior to booking Gianni's flat, and we couldn't be happier with our accommodation.
The bathroom had consistent hot water and great water pressure. The flat is very clean and welcoming.
The flat easily accommodated four people for the night, and Gianni was always available to help with any request (we found the maps and itinerary recommendations in the flat extremely helpful).
We definitely would recommend Gianni's flat to anyone, and would definitely use it the next time we are in Rome.
P.S: try De Ninos restaurant for dinner - fantastic Italian food a few blocks from the flat towards the Collosium -

Left on 11/13/2011 for a stay in November 2011
We stayed at this lovely apartment in November, and it was just as pictured and Gianni met us there promptly, had a reasonable size lift for an Italian apartment and it was great value for money. My only complaint was that the spot pinpointed on the flipkey map was wrong by about 20 streets (and still is at the time of writing this) it is near Piazza Dante on the other side of the Coloseum. So unfortunately I had booked it so we could walk to the shops but we were not able to and I also booked my mother into a hotel which I belived to be nearby but it wasnt which made life very difficult for us.

Stuttgart, GermanyPerfect for what we needed for traveling as a family!
Left on 05/19/2011 for a stay in November 2010
Gianni was a superb host. Our flight was delayed yet he waited for us with no problem at the flat. The flat is an easy 10-15 minute walk from the main train station (took the bus from the airport as the taxi drivers wanted a fortune) and it is actually faster to walk from the main train station to the flat than to go down the stairs to the right subway line and take a 5 min ride to the metro by the flat. (Watch for gypsies that offer to help you figure out the easy to figure out subway machines and then ask for some money in return). The subway stop by the flat is literally around the corner and there is a nice park with rides and a small amusement park for the kids. Was a nice walk down to the Colosseum which we did at night too to see it lit up! The subway is cheap so you can get to the Vatican etc very easily from the metro by the flat! The flat is secure and has an old fashioned elevator (might need a few trips back and forth with luggage). The flat has a separate bedroom and a fold out bed (for the kids), kitchen with utensils and even leftover oils and salt and detergent. The grocery store is right around the corner so it definitely helped us save money! There is a washing machine and clothesline, tv and even a few movies (watched Roman Holiday!). Is a laptop and internet but am sure guests saved some junk to it so it could run a little slow. But, was good to send off an email to friends! The neighborhood was safe although throughout Rome you are sure to see folks begging for change or drinking wine/beer outside at night by the park but that is the same with any big city. I did a lot of research and finding a place in Rome that won't cost you a month's salary was a challenge. This place really met our needs and I have recommended it to some friends in my office! Eat ice cream at the "The Old Bridge" by the Vatican. Best deal in town!!
